I go to this Dutch brothers every week and since they have opened. However on my last visit the coffee that I ordered. I have ordered before and this time, It was the most bitter old tasting coffee with the lack of almond that should have been. It was unbelievable. I should have driven back around got in line and handed it back to them. Saying nope this is not what I paid for Nor can I drink it. But I needed to move on with other things. I had to do very disappointed wasted my money and i'm afraid to go back in order honestly. I have seen them be super busy go through several workers and I have times when they are very fast other times. When they are very slow. I do wanna say that the blasting music at the window is kind of annoying when you want to ask a question or when they're shouting out Your order to you when you can barely hear what they are saying over what they are playing. I also want to Get my receipt with every order and I always have to ask for that since they don't send it out in an email and the app is really no good the only thing It's for is to have to remember to show it to them to get your points to build up for a free coffee once in a while. Read moreLet me say that we are fans, big fans. We go to DB quite often. Enough to make the points we get work in our favor. As of late, within the last month, either location has had issues. I order a black tea, Rose City flavor. It should be bright red and have flavor. Today it was brown and missing about 2 inches from the top of being full on a large. Mind you I pulled out and tasted then immediately got back in line as they were not that busy. I was honest with the workers and told them it wasn't up to par. Quite honestly it sucked. They remade it and it was perfect. Kudo on the positive guest recovery. Now, on to the major issues. This keeps happening. I've only had it remade 2 times but still. What's the point in paying for something that quite honestly isn't even close to what you order.
Either you are cutting back on the syrup you put in the tea, getting too much water from the ice bucket without draining it off a bit in the glass before you pour the mixture which waters it down, your tea is made weak and virtually have no flavor there, or it's simply lack of paying attention. I give props when it's due. I firmly believe in a learning curve with new DB workers. I've been there and understand. Come on DB, get it together. Read moreI love Dutch bros in Colorado- and was so excited to get a coffee with the new one in Stillwater. However my experience was not what I expected on a Drink of my choice. I had an iced Americano with added vanilla, caramel wall and the soft top. As it’s being made the barista is making small talk with me which is fine, but he then looks back and says “ looks like diabetes in a cup.” I was shocked at his mention of a simple drink and just said “it’s chill.” but to be honest, it made me feel super self conscious when he handed it to me and put a very bad taste in my mouth with his unprofessional judgment. I have ordered the same type of drink from other places, like Starbucks and NEVER have I heard such foul words from a barista with a couple add ins to make my normal drink a fun one. Do better.
