Planet Fitness — Local services in Stockbridge

Just moved to the area and went to check out the facility. From what I could it looked pretty nice and clean but OMG Daja has to be the rudest most unprofessional employee that I’ve encountered in a long time. First office, I called prior to visiting see i needed an appointment to tour the facility. Then o get there and am greeted by Daja who I ask for pricing information. She immediately asks for my drivers license without any explanation as to why she needed my license just to give me pricing. I give her my license and she pulls out a pricing sheet. I then tell her that I would like to look around, she tells me that in order for me to view the facility an employee has to guide me but she has no one there to guide me. Mind you, I saw at least 4 employees standing around not doing anything. But ok, no problem. I then ask her if I could schedule an appointment to come view it another time. She says “you can just come back to view it anytime”. I tell clearly that’s not true because no one is available now and I don’t want to keep having to drive up just to see the facility. She shrugs her shoulder and gave me a “do it look like I car look” Clearly she just didn’t feel like giving me a tour because the gym was not crowded at all and there were more than enough employees there. Been a member since opening... gym is clean, not overcrowded... however they need to take better care of the elipticals and the "arc trainer" like ellipticals. They are not firmly balanced to the floor. Even where there are plenty, one has an out of service sign for months. Ive reported the unstable ellipticals several times and they don't seem to care. If it werent my closer to home, I would've moved my membership to another location. They wobble to the sides

This gym is slowly decaying in cleanliness and maintenance. Trash cans are almost full all the time, a bad odor/stench emerges now when as soon as you open the door. There is even an area with black plastic covering it and closed. Ellipticals are mostly unstable and not properly attached to floor. Free weight and smith machines are mostly occupied all the times with people even recording stuff in their phones which is supposed to be prohibited.

It is sad to see it going down since it is the only "decent" gym on this area. I've been on most of the PF locations around and this is gradually becoming the worst. You are in time to recover it before see it failing....

Horrible experience! Was told by the manager that I previously owed on a previous account (I used my EXACT same email as I did years ago AFTER i came to this location and worked out numerous times prior with no issues the same week) she said because of this I could not work out and that I neeeded to present documentation in order to work out there at planet fitness. She said the other location gave me until that friday to present documentation or my account would close out, I never went back to provide documentation on a so call balance from 4 years ago so the account should have been closed like I was told. But No , The manager kept it open and allowed my so call “new account” to ge charged month after month after month when I was told I could not even work out at this location. Instead of her apologizing for this mis communication and mis understanding she did NOT take away this “new” balance and refuse to do so. New management is needed because they act like the money from these memberships are going towards their lunchbreaks or something…. DONT GO HERE...
