Just a mess all combos come with hush puppies. And on this particular day they informed me at the drive-thru that they did not have any hush puppies which is already included in the price for a combo that is around $8. When I acquired about why am I still being charged full price when I'm not receiving a big advertised side or could I get something extra instead I was read back with an attitude. That's fine when I drove up there I asked again if there was something extra in there since I'm paying full price and she told me she did not know so I told them they can keep their order because I refuse to be stolen from me $2 or $1 from every customer that goes to that line from not getting hush puppies all because someone was inadequate to order enough hush puppies or too lazy to cook them. I have not eaten at Long John silver's in over 15 years. My understanding it is a failing franchise and I really see them anymore because the food quality is pretty bad and the customer service is worse. Probably my lifetime I would never eat a Long John silver's because by the time I have a taste for Long John silver's after this experience Long John silver's more likely will be out of business and closed for good. I called the store after this experience and of course the published phone number kept ringing and ringing and no one answered. That shows me lack of ownership lack of concern it shows that they are to the point where they don't give a...
Read moreDrive through only opens kind of early i think and the employees get either short handed or really slow possibly even working without a real manager so it takes a lot longer than necessary after 8. I came at about 9:45 pm. As always the line wrapped from pickup window all the way around to the closed lobby id say 10 cars or so in line. So I wasn't expecting a quick visit. They had a hard time hearing me order but still got my order correct and charged me correctly and gave me my correct order and change at the window. One thing I like here is they dont ask you to pull up after you get to the window. Better management and scheduling key members on weekends would dramatically help. Maybe some sense of urgency training... on a taco its just lettuce meat and cheese I mean it should only take a few seconds to pump one full and wrapped into its wrapper. Overall its no worse than anywhere in the area. But what are we really expecting? Things sure aren't 3:30 second service times anymore. More like be glad you're getting your order because these places aren't really worried about those times as they used to be. Sadly. But we know already it can be done... so can't yall step it up in the fast food industry??? Customer's...
Read moreI went there today, 5/11/23, with the hopes of getting some lunch around 130ish. I was in the drive-thru line for 15 minutes, but ended up driving off without getting food after sitting at the window for well over 5 minutes. The young man working the window slowly walked up to the window giving me an "I hate life," stare without saying a word. The food at this particular location isn't good enough (hard rice) to wait that long. I ended up going across the street to get Zaxby's. As I sat in the parking lot eating my food, I could see the car that was behind me at Taco Bell just getting their order. The car behind that car drove off without getting food just as I did. They were NOT busy, no one was waiting inside. So I dont understand why the wait was so long. They should just close this location. I'd rather drive a couple of extra miles down the road to the one on Anvilblock Rd. for better service and fresher tasting food, than to sit in a line for 15 minutes and have that young man stare at me like I hurt his dog. All without saying as little as "We'll be right with you." DO BETTER TACO BELL ON FAIRVIEW RD!! Oh and take the Long John Silvers stuff down off the menu. It looks very ghetto with all the...
