I walked into store #6202 on November 8, 2017 at 9:30 pm. I was trying to use my $5 rewards that is on my account. When I typed in my number, I was told that there were two accounts associated and both needed to be enrolled. I immediately got on my phone and updated my information. The number was not showing my $5 reward. When the manager came over, she initially told me that I would need to spend atleast $7 in order to use my $5 reward. When I question where that information was, she told me that it's "probably in some fine print somewhere". I was visible confused š but I picked up two $1 items and placed them on the counter for her to add to bring my total to over $7. She stood there and stared at me for several moments. At that point, I asked," could you add these so that I can spend the $7?" After, the rewards still did not show up, she began to show sign that she was becoming irritated as if she had better things to do. That was when she became extremely rude, cutting me off in the middle of my sentence, and at least 3 times, forcefully repeating "enter your phone number!" spinning the monitor around and looking up to ceiling while saying, "WHICH ACCOUNT MA'AM? WHICH ACCOUNT MA'AM? WHICH ACCOUNT MA'AM?! me enter my phone number into the pin pad over 6 times and spun the monitor around and made me choose which account even after neither worked the first two times. She was more interested in embarrassing and berating me than actually finding a solution to the system error. After this went on for five minutes, she started saying to another associate," see, this is the New Yorker in me. People think I'm rude because of my approach but it's just because I'm from New York." At that point I began to record her with my cellphone because I've never experienced anything like this at any Walgreens or Duane Reade (in New York) before. At that point she picked up the phone and dialed 911, stating that I was recording her and that she asked me to leave and that I had refused. When she hung up the phone, I asked why she lied to the police and that she had never asked me to leave. " you lied to the police and told them you asked me to leave?" Her response was, " That was not the police, that was the 911 operator!" At this point another associate was attempting to help me enter my information. She interrupted and spun the monitor around on me again. When the police arrived, the manager, pointed the me and said ," there's the woman I was talking about" and I was escorted out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came to the pharmacy to pick up my sons prescription & was told they did not have his insurance information even though I have used Walgreens for years to pick up my children's prescriptions & was too busy to look it up. My is 3 and has strep throat so I had to call off of work. I called them numerous times the next day to get the prescription filled as I had his doctors office send over his insurance information 3xs by fax and they still insisted that they did not receive the fax even though I had them repeat the fax # to me to confirm that it was the correct fax # and it was. The next time I called they kept me on hold for a total of 40 minutes the amount of time it took me to drive up to the pharmacy. When I got inside they are completely empty! No customers but 4 or 5 employees inside so why was I on hold for 40 mins? My oldest son is about to be 16 I have been using walgreens pharmacy since he was born. This is the absolute worst service I have had with them. I asked to speak to The store manager & the shift lead LaToya came & told me that I would have to call the walgreens 1800 # to make a complaint and that the store manager was not available. As I asked to speak to a district manager. I am continuing to get the run around with this Covington hwy location. I cannot see why they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm looking for a photo puzzle vendor for an upcoming business I want to start, so customer service is the key whether a location will be an ongoing partner. The first time I picked up a puzzle, it was ready same day, well packaged and the photo counter personnel were informative. That set such high expectations, I used them again. Second time I went in, ordered a puzzle same way as before, but there was no one to be found at the counter, stood there several minutes and had to finally get the cashier's attention. She informed me that the photo person went on break and that she would have to get the manager. That's fine. Everybody deserves a break, but it was the job of the cashier to notice a customer needing assistance in an unstaffed area and call for help or the manager to make sure someone covered it while the employee was on break. On top of all that, I was wondering why I couldn't get my puzzle same day like before and they said they didn't carry that size in house. But the website offers 2 sizes for in store pickup. Wish I had known that was the reason it wasn't available that day. I will still continue to use Walgreens, but I will try the location up the street. However, I will give this location another chance at a different time, since it is just...
