This is the 2nd time I ordered from here and have had and issue. After my first order I received a free pizza and decided to give this store another chance. I was very specific and included all my information (phone number & gate code). On my first delivery my pizza was made horribly. I hardly had any cheese on it and I asked for extra sauce but instead was made a pizza that had little to no sauce on it. The delivery driver also came to my residence with a friend in his vehicle and was playing loud music which made matters worse. The 2nd order and delivery the gentleman took a little longer than the wait time that was given to me. Turns out that HE left HIS phone at the store and was unable to access my gate. I'm not sure why because I included my gate code with the order and my phone never rang. He was upset when he called because he had to go all the way to the store to call me. I can understand his frustration for not being able to get in the gate; however I did not appreciate him taking those frustrations out on me when he clearly could have called me if he didn't leave his phone at the store. When he came back I just had my boyfriend meet him up at the gate because all I wanted was my pizza. When we received our food the pizza was dry and and my toppings were smashed, there was also pizza sauce on the top inside of the box as if something was sitting on it. Papa Johns has always been my all time favorite when it come to pizza, but after these two experiences from the same store within the same week it's safe to say I will never be ordering this from papa johns again. Read moreI placed an order at 11:50 AM, then received an email indicating an estimated delivery time of 24-34 minutes. My order was not delivered until 1:33 PM. I am only writing this review after a very unpleasant conversation with Marcus Mitchell. He was rude, dismissive and extremely unprofessional. Prior to speaking to Marcus, I spoke to a polite young lady named Rivers - she was professional and apologetic to the unfortunate circumstances. She provided a refund, along with a sincere apology but everything went downhill when she put Marcus on the phone (I have no idea why she placed me on hold and put him on). I understand that things happen but being rude and stating, "we already made the order free for you", only makes the situation worse and is totally besides the point. He also flat out lied and told me he would call me to let me know when my order was leaving the store - this, of course, did not happen. I have the call and his lie recorded, by the way. By the time the pizza arrived, it was cold, unappetizing and unappealing. We had to microwave it, which totally takes away the appeal of freshly delivered pizza. Please see attached photos, which prove order time, estimated delivery time and actual delivery time. I also included a photo of the old, cold, sad looking pizza. Note to Papa John's: In instances where there are unforeseen circumstances and you can't deliver on time, re-make the pizza. Read moreI wish o could give no stars. This place is the absolute worst ! We ordered a pizza and was told it would be delivered in 40-45 minutes. The driver finally arrived over an hour later and with the wrong order ! He says he has to go back to the store and get our order. After waiting a reasonable amount of time to allow him to do so , I called the store to check on the order and at first was told it was delivered after telling him no it wasn’t and explaining what happened the young man on the phone said “oh yeah” I see that. I asked him since we had to wait almost 3 hours would there be a discount , not free (although that’s what I would have done) and he said he needed to ask his Manager and I replied okay. He then came back to the phone and said the manager said it wouldn’t be free or discounted because it was a cash order, which make zero sense. I then asked him if the pizza would be a freshly cooked one since it obviously has been some time since our original order and he replied, “ I think so”.
