Nest — Local services in Stonington

Ok, so it’s not just me… I stopped in Nest yesterday around 2:00 and not only was I not greeted, I was totally ignored- not even looked at! The two employees were eating lunch AT the register- front and center- talking up a storm about a television show. I had a necklace and earrings in a box with me, hoping to find a bracelet that would complete the ensemble. Never was I asked if I needed help, if there was something in particular I was looking for or any of the questions a good merchant/sales rep would ask. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. I will not return. Nest used to have friendly helpful staff....

I have always been very pleased when visiting the Nest, however, tonight Wednesday, January 31st was an exception. The woman working was not welcoming or helpful. I had two questions and she answered almost as if annoyed. I made my purchase and she barely spoke during the transaction. I realized when I returned to my car it was about 4:45. Nest is a must stop when I am in Mystic. A delight for the eyes and the heart. Home decor that is unique, quaint, and always changing.
