Purchased phones and enrolled with Verizon in January. I was quoted at $150 per month for two lines and a phone. My first bill was $270 with activation fees and a late fee assessed to my bill, because the agent selling me my phones managed to send the bill to my address from 4 years ago. I tried to get the late fees removed, but they said that they couldn't remove the fees. I tried to end my service with them, but I was surprised threatened with a $500 per phone charge if I tried to end my service. I folded and paid the late fees. My next bill was paid through auto pay. It was $214. Once again much higher than the $150 I was quoted. I was told my bill was still high because my auto pay and military discounts hadn't been deducted. The auto pay wasn't set up fast enough for them. That bill was payed through auto pay! It was set up a month before the bill! How is that not fast enough? I went to the store again. They said they couldn't help me. They couldn't get my discounts applied to my account. They didn't even try to make a phone call to help. They just promised me that my next bill would be $150. Just like they did the previous month. They actually told me to come into the store before the bill is processed through auto pay to make sure the bill will be $150. I told them that I have to work and can't keep coming to the store to ensure my bill will be what we agreed upon. I had enough and wanted to turn my phones in and end service. Once again I was threatened with a $500 per phone charge for ending service. This is not fair! This store has not fulfill it's price promise. The customer service is terrible. I am going to end service and see what I have to do to protect myself from future charges. I paid $370 to set up phones, $270 first month service and fees, $214 second month service and fees. $854 total for 2 months of service! And who knows what next month's bill will be. Unbelievable! Read moreA few months ago, I came to this location to upgrade my iPhone. Normally, this is a very easy task and you get in and out, but because I had already had an pre-ordered iPhone ( that I called to have cancelled ) on my Verizon account, this process became an all day thing. It would have been a very disappointing encounter if I had not had the pleasure of being assisted by Bryton W. I came into the store about 10am and did not leave until 2:30pm, but the entire time he was very patient with me and made all the correct calls in order to help me upgrade my phone and get the pre-ordered phone off my account.
There was a plethora of other customers coming in the store yet, Bryton never left from my side because from the very beginning he told me he would take care of me until the very end and he did just that. I commend this young man for his honest word, patience and guidance and if I could give him more than a 5 star review I would have. He is an exemplary employee and I can imagine there’s only a matter of time before he SHOULD and WILL be promoted to upper management.
