Old Carolina Barbecue Company — Restaurant in Stow

I went to the stow location twice this week. The first time going I spent almost $50. We decided to go back again today and when going to place the order we had a few questions and they informed us on how they sold their wings after asking for an order of 25 Wings the lady informed us that they may not even have that many but they ended up having enough Wings to make us an order of 25. So not only did we get the 25 wings but we also got two sandwiches and some cornbread spending almost $40 we then drove home to eat our meal. The food we got was to feed five people we get home to realize that they only gave us four small containers of barbecue sauce. The lady was a bit rude while taking our order but we overlooked it. But after driving 25 minutes to get food and then 25 minutes home to eat just to realize that we don't even have enough barbecue sauce for half of our food let alone all of it was a little annoying so I proceeded to call to speak to somebody and ask to speak to the store manager and I was informed that that wasn't an option that I had to speak to the lady on the phone who was the assistant manager and again she was pretty rude and did not seem to care that I was inconvenienced and told me that I must have told the lady at the counter that that's all I wanted because they always ask how many things of barbecue sauce people want for their orders which they did not do that in this case they ask what type we wanted they never asked how many we wanted the lady that I spoke to you on the phone then informed me that I was able to come pick up more barbecue sauce after I already informed her that I would have a 25-minute drive she was very inconsiderate she did proceeded to tell me that she would make sure the person that bag the order would be retrained on how many BBQ sauces to give out but that does not help me or my family who is now eating so-called BBQ without hardly any...

I came to eat here at the Old Carolina BBQ on a Saturday night with my wife and two kids, and this is my second time eating at Old Carolina, but the first time at this location. The good things about this place are that the food here is pretty good, delicious and flavorful, the menu has a good selection, and the service is great here, the staff are very friendly and hospitable to us customers.

However, I think that there could be some areas of improvement for the restaurant to improve on: The first thing is that the brisket meat I ordered was a little too dry, and that to me it would be much better if the meat had more fat and would be more juicy. The second thing that the restaurant could work on would be to replace the chairs, as they could be a safety hazard for customers sitting down to eat, because the space between the chairs' legs are too narrow and that are too straight up, which makes it unstable, creating a tipping hazard for customers. My 12 year old son fell with the chair to the floor as he turned around to look at something, but thankfully he didn't get hurt, which is why they should replace the chairs here to something more stable for customers to sit on and prevent any tipping hazards from occurring to customers eating here.

Overall, the delicious food and friendly staff help to make Old Carolina a good place to eat, and hopefully we can see these improvements made next time...

I love barbecue. It's hard to find good bbq. A lot of the mom-and-pop joints are on the outskirts if any at all. I was surprised to find this diamond in the rough I am super glad I did. Carolina Barbeque is a chain place that gets it right. They have a good variety of Bbq for your enjoyment. Ribs wings brisket, oh my. They have an assortment of sauces and fixings to get you to your happy belly place. The dining room is simple and clever. Wooden picnic-type tables that give you an outdoor feeling. Very polished wood and good space between. Also, each table provides you a roll of paper towels to clean up what tiny bit of flavors you might not have devoured. I could talk about the food because it's pretty good. I could talk about the price this which was fair especially for what I got. What made me happy was the service. The people there were outstandingly nice and very considerate. And the cashier was incredibly knowledgeable about the food there. When an employee eats at the place they work it's normally a good sign. I will try a lot of places a few times to give them a chance to earn my business. This company hit a homer off the first bat. They wowed me with a great staff. They seduced me with incredible flavors and sold me at a fair price. I'm gonna revisit this place and if my next visit is like this one. They made a...
