Our office ordered lunch today from the Panera in Stow and we were given pretty bad customer service. Most of the food was great and tasted delicious. However, my co-workers salad had literally nothing she (PAID) extra to have on it. It was just chicken and lettuce. She called back to make them aware of the salad and the gentleman on the phone said "what do you want me to do about it"? Not even an apology or I am sorry or how can I make this right for you. She responded with I don't know maybe remake the correct salad and make it right... Add some cookies she said. The young man didn't even acknowledge her comment about the cookies and said I will send a new salad. Mind you not very friendly. It's sad because we have had our work meetings at this location. I have used this location to do different lunches and marketing to take to other offices. We have never had a bad experience until today. I just wanted to make the staff aware of the rudeness we experienced today so they could use it as a training situation. Hopefully this is a one time occurence. I would hate to have to start going to a different location and spending the money we spend at a new location. She ordered avocado, cilatro, cucumbers, tomatoes, and grapes. Read moreWe're vegetarian and my child is allergic to many forms of animal protein. So we've been trying to slowly introduce dairy and eggs to him. We ordered a Flatbread and a veggie soup. Both had chicken in it. They were also rather flippant when I brought it to their attention. They returned the money for the soup and replaced the Flatbread so that was satisfactory but they didn't seem at all to understand that this was a big mistake to have meat in a large container of veggie soup. I understand mistakes happen and I didn't expect them to bend over backwards in apology but they didn't even check the rest of the soup. They just blew the issue off saying they were confident that their foods are fine. Read moreI ordered a chicken Cesar salad and I have had these from Panera for years. What I got was nothing like what I am accustom to as far as quantity and quality. I did request the croutons be left off, and I know there’s not a lot to a Caesar salad, but this salad was small, the chicken was tasteless, and the Parmesan cheese was almost non existent. Instead of shaved or grated, I got powder. I am completely floored that I spent over $13 + delivery for a bowl of lettuce with unseasoned chicken and powdered cheese. Had I been in the restaurant I would have requested a refund and gone someplace else. This is not the first issue I have had with this location and they do not seem to care.
