I'm a Lancaster County local, and absolutely love whoopie pies. I was so excited for this festival, and arrived just after 10. The regular admission line filed back into the parking lot and would've taken over an hour to get through. I bought a 25$ VIP ticket just to get instant access to the tent. Once you got into the tent, you were met with thousands of whoopie pies with many unique flavors. The line to check out was equally as ridiculous as the line outside. Whoopie pies felt overpriced compared to local bakery or market prices. All over, I was very disappointed. Maple bacon, raspberry jalapeño, salted caramel, cotton candy, blueberry lemon, chocolate peanut butter, plus so many more.
