Paradise Green Consignments — Local services in Stratford

I absolutely love this place!! It's a great addition to the Green area in Stratford! The owner Michele is such a knowledgeable and down to earth person! She was so easy to work with! The employees are also super polite and the store is always clean but packed with new merchandise constantly!

I've consigned plenty of items that would've been just sitting in my closet! If your items didn't sell it's probably because they didn't appeal to the shoppers. If the items don't sell within a certain period, the price continuously drops... If you're looking for designer clothing for less, this is the place to go!! The staff only accepts clothing that's in the current season which is great! I've updated my fall wardrobe at a great deal!

Oh not to mention I stopped by over weekend to do a little shopping and to purchase a few things at the local bakery and I noticed they were taking donations for the Hurricane disaster victims!! Again, what a great addition to the community!

I took my clothes down to the store to consign there. The women had me stand there for 30 minutes while she went through my items. She took what she wanted and gave me back the rest. The next day someone from the shop calls me to tell me that the leather boots I brought in had a small rip inside and they were going to donate them. (not so, not only were they examined the day before I also only wore them once!). The following day I received another call about another item and I told the girl on the phone that I felt they were scamming me and that my items were already examined. She back-peddled and said never mind!! After my consignment time was up, I went down to pickup the remaining clothes and one of the items that wasn't listed as sold was missing! I feel they are very dishonest and help themselves to whatever they want without paying for it. I would not recommend this consignment shop for selling...

Today, I visited Paradise Green Consignment store located in Stratford, CT. All I have to say is wow!!!. I met the owner, her name is Michele, an excellent human being, she was very genuine and welcoming. She showed me around the store and even alert me of sales. She took her time to explain the sales tickets and the expiration dates. I feel that the community should visit her store and support her for several reasons, one, her merchandise are great quality, second the customer service is 100% great and last because she helps the community and those families in need that are under a budget.
