Go dress shopping elsewhere, try on a bunch of dresses, be disappointed, THEN go see Erica, because she will have THE dress for you at a 'savvy' price and you will appreciate her so much more. I bought my dress from Erica 4 months ago, and her store was my first stop for dress shopping. Not knowing what to expect, I took for granted her 1:1 attention, the number of dresses I got to try on (I think I tried on about 10 dresses that day). The dress I ended up buying was under my budget (Erica - I found out I got the dress for $50 more than what was posted on Instagram later, but honestly, consider that a tip because you were wonderful), and it was MY dress. However, Erica's shop being the first store, I kept having doubts. 'What if this isn't the one?' 'Did I pay too much?' 'A lot of people tried this on. Should I be getting a brand new dress' etc. etc. So one day, I decided I need to do another round of dress shopping to either find a better dress, or just be convinced that my dress is THE one. After visiting 3 bridal stores in NYC and trying on a lot of very expensive dresses that were easily 3 times as expensive as the dress I got from Erica, I was fully convinced that the dress I bought from Erica was THE one. We went to The Savvy Bride for my wedding dress, and had a great experience! I needed a dress I could take home with me right away as my wedding was only a few months away. I loved that I had the whole shop to ourselves during my appointment. Erica was so helpful in figuring out what kind of dress I liked - I started out thinking I would like a more simple style, and she quickly figured out that I actually wanted something with a little more sparkle. I tried on 12 dresses total, and mine was the 6th one. I was so impressed with Erica’s ability to pick out dresses that I would like. I ended up with a beautiful dress, at a very fair price. After checking out multiple bridal shops, the Savvy Bride was my last stop. I was in sort of a rush to get a dress, and finding something I didn't have to order was key. Erica helped me find the perfect dress for me. I had saved similar photos online and after a few options, she nailed it. Erica makes sure to only purchase the best of the best quality and has a variety of options and styles to choose from. Not only that, but she was able to immediately get me in contact with someone who does alternations in my town... over an hour away near Poughkeepsie, NY.
