First time ive ever been to this pawn shop ever. I walk in with a neon lamp that is nearly new in box they retail for $119 online. I wasnt sure if they bought things like this so i asked and one of the guys working here says yea im going to need to see a reciept... Huh??? Alright thats easy i do have proof of where i bought it. But wow i mean really..... How do you come at people like that especially since this is the very first time ive ever stepped foot into this place? Anyways i decided to see how much they would offer and the lady tells me oh we can give you $10 bucks? Really do i look like a drug addict? Sounds like a good deal lol. I was told oh these are going for $25 dollars on ebay. The funny thing is i looked myself and i know ebay quite well im in the top 20% of powersellers. I sell items everyday and this is even listed. You know what get your s$@!t straight dont try scamming people. There was not one on there for $25 there was one that was close to 25 but had a ridiculously high shipping cost. Most of them are selling in the $60 dollar range you figure in shipping cost. I dont deserve to be treated this way and i will never return. Thanks but no thanks im not hard up for money, im not a thief so screw you. Word of advice to anyone these jokers use ebay as a guide to what your item is worth. They will look at the cheapest one they can find or tell you a different amount there selling for. They do not figure in the fact many sellers on ebay list things very cheap but have a very high shipping cost, its to make it look like your getting an awesome deal, many people will put on a filter to filter lowest to highest results and check out with the lowest price they see. Once they get to their cart and they will be paying twice or three times what shipping should cost on an item. Look items up before hand. Its not too hard to see what things are really selling for. I have my lamp listed on ebay at 41.00 they average 60.00ish they told me they average 25... And they wanted to give me 10. So whats the deal say you did buy it for 10 and you sell for 25 your making 15 and im only making 10 do i look like a fool. I might have an old car and dirty clothes but i have more money than you could even imagine. I make over a million dollars a year side hustling ebay esty amazon. I run multiple online stores. I flip real estate. I recycle huge amounts of steel. You want to see a reciept or the amount of money i have in my bank account. Hey everyone before you sell to them get a second offer, these guys are taking...
Read moreI've driven past this store many times. Recently, I noticed a Trans Am outside--looked straight out of Smokey & The Bandit! My husband LOVES that movie!! I was wondering if I could maybe pull off an epic X-mas present. :)
I've never been into a pawn shop before, but I had nothing to worry about. It looked closer to a Sears than one of the freaky places you see in B movies. The guys were really nice and welcoming. Joel (I think) was the manager...he patiently answered all my questions. I took a stroll through the store too and found myself eying the new-in-the-box Cuizinart (sp?) they had. I need a new vacuum too and they had a Dyson Animal so I made a mental note to come back when mine finally kicks the bucket. Way cheaper than buying it elsewhere--those are crazy expensive new!! Maybe it'll still be there.
Back to topic! I got to drive the Trans Am! So fun! But It turned out to be a bit above my price range--I wasn't aware of how much a late 70s Trans Am ran. I did find out that they were several hundred under the blue book price for it, which was good. I was nervous about buying something like a car as-is...but they assured me that since they sell cars they also follow the Lemon Law and have their own mechanic on staff. So, I'm not a big car person myself, but now that I know these guys are here I will definitely keep them in mind when my car goes belly-up, or I want to pawn something. Yes, you can go here alone or with kids or grandma. Don't...
Read moreI’ve had FOUR incidences with this pawn shop today while trying to purchase my items back. 1st. My card was charged for the wrong amount, when asked if it would come out the associate “Reassured me“ It wouldn’t... and SURPRISE it did!
2nd. I called the store to mention that the charge actually went through and I was told by Kathy that I had to come IN STORES to speak to a manager “for matters like this”
3rd. I went to the store to find out the manager couldn’t reverse the payment his associate accidentally charged me for, so that means I went out of my way to come back to the store for NO REASON
Lastly, I finally come home and unwrap all my items when I realize that my wireless mouse was missing the piece that connects it to my laptop.( mind you, I know I left it in my laptop at drop off. I NEVER take the piece out of my laptop because I use it daily) but of course their answer was they couldn’t do anything about it.
So 1 Star it is... if I could give them a zero rating I would.
Oh yeah & the manager needs a mask that fits his FACE. He for sure isn’t complying with the CDC guidelines. He’s potentially exposing customers with his carelessness in a time like this.
You guys do with the...
