I'm visiting from out of town. In desperate need of a haircut before a big meeting. I get a high fade with scissors on top and have a full beard that's typically faded and trimmed as well. Finding a good barber that really knows how to do a good fade is tough and finding one on the fly is even tougher. There are tons of barbers in Stuart, but I chose to follow Lex and the standard of quality Avenue Barber shop strives for, even when they moved to the new location next to Play it Again Sports. I had a bad experience here. I went for haircut and beard. Haircut was fine, but he cut my mustache when I didn’t ask for that. I was very clear about what I wanted. I said “cut here, here, and here” never said anything about my mustache. Usually when the barber puts cream on the mustache it’s just to straighten it out and keep natural but he cut it into a thin line. He also cut the hair under my lip and looked strange as it was a small triangle shape. He also put a razor to my eyebrows this is very strange because eyebrows don’t grow back!
