We arrived around 5:15pm on Saturday April 6, 2019. My Son and I were taking my Parent's to dinner and they chose Outback to which neither of us have been to in over a year or more. I used thier App and put our name on the *Waitlist as we were driving but much to our delight there was NO line or waiting, we were seated immediately. Then we sat for over 15 minutes, (yes I timed it because I took a photo as we were seated and noted the time) before anyone even acknowledged us! I mean, (NO) one said they'll be right with us, (NO) one even took a drink order, (NO) one even made eye contact with us and they weren't busy!! I used to be a Bartender and Restaurant Manager year's ago and I was flabbergasted that my Parent's had to wait for someone to even come close to our table let alone a nod or a wave, nothing! We finally got a Server and she was great, I think her name was Diane?. But, she was the only bright light in this visit because several things weren't. They forgot 2 thing's all together when our meals were served, my Father's Mac & Ch. *which he just got to go because it never made it to our table until we were almost done as well as my Mother's French Fries, they put Mash Potatoes on her plate instead! I didn't even get any butter on my Baked Potato just Sour cream. My Mother's 6oz. Filet was cut in half, CUT IN HALF, REALLY it was ONLY 6OZ the Cook really needed to check the temperature on a cut that tiny?! Plus, of course it was undercooked, she ordered Medium it was close to Rare. Now, if your only scanning over this review please pay close attention to this! IF, when ordering the Server asks, *what side would you like, you better ask *what COMES WITH IT, (not) what are the choices because my Son's 12OZ Sirlion with Shrimp alone was $26.49! However, he ordered, (he thought) sides that came with of Broccoli and Cheese an UP CHARGE OF $1, then Grilled Asparagus *UP CHARGE of $1 and a side of Bourbon sauce and *UP CHARGE of $1.99 therefore his dish was really $30.48, NOT $26! My Father's 22OZ Bone in Ribeye, $31.78 was UP CHARGED for the Mac & Ch of $1.99 (the one they forgot until we were leaving)! So his was really, $33.76! On to my Mother's meal of a 6oz filet with a tiny 4oz Lobster Tail $28.99, when asked (what side) she wanted, she asked what do you have and she was told French Onion Soup as 1 choice well guess what, yes, an UP CHARGE of $1 therefore making her meal $29.99! I seemed to have the lowest meal at $18.79 which was only a 1/2 rack of Ribs with a small butterflied Chicken Breast, SO OVER Priced to say the least! Okay now, if you add up 4 Sodas, and 1 Blooming Onion at $9.49, the dinner for 4 at Outback was a whopping $138.98 before tip!!! Honestly, 3 of us were still hungry after that and ended up at Cold Stone Creamery for dessert! If I spend $150 for dinner, I had better not still be hungry! So, hopefully I'm able to save you money if your reading this review and you won't be taken by all the UP CHARGES they get you with! I can find better Steak at nearby Restaurants for less! Oh, and we were there so long, my Mom had to get up and circulate her legs, I went with her as my Son waited forever to even get the check let alone pay it! She was craving for outback, so we decided to go and I treated her for dinner since we both never been to the Stuart location. We waited to be seated over 15 minutes. There was no host when we got there. The service was awful, we had waited to get our drinks longer than we should have, same with ordering our food. Our waitress gave us bread that was hard as a rock with no plates!!! And the bread was nasty.
My friend had noticed a young teen(male) employee rolling silverware, he sneeze in his gloves and then started rolling silverware again without changing his gloves🤮 as we were waiting for our food. I finished my drink that was empty, asked for a refill and the waitress or food runner didn’t give me my drink back. So then again we waited over 45 minutes to get our food and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. We finally got our food after waiting forever, my friend had gotten a steak, with a baked potato and a side salad. She told the waitress that she wanted her steak medium. So she cut into her steak and it was not medium. It looked like it wasn’t COOKED!!! So we complained to our waitress about it and she sent it back to the kitchen. After that happened she had her baked potato and salad and that was ok. As for me I had the bloomin chicken sandwich and it was fine for my taste. 15 minutes later my friend got her steak back, and it was undercooked. Manager (Jared) came over and asked us how the food was, my friend had told him that she was very very disappointed with the steak. He didn’t apologized and told both of us to give him a good review. I paid for the dinner and left, will never come back, I’m very disappointed and embarrassed because I just wanted to have a nice dinner with my best friend. Even she told me that her outback location where she lives is much better than then the one we went. I’d also like to add that the entrance window door were nasty, they had fingerprints everywhere didn’t looked like it was cleaned. Never coming back!! Read moreUpdate: received a call from the manager who apoligized and offered to comp my next order. Used it today and it was a huge improvement over my last visit. Food was good and the customer service was great. I appreciate there willingness to correct the mistakes and show me that my bad experience was most likely a rare event. I will eat here again, though the prices are a bit high for it to be a frequent thing.
Haven't been to an outback in many years and we decided to give it a try. Placed an online order for
steak salad Tasmanian shrimp and scallop pasta Loaded baked potato with extra toppings Fried shrooms appetizer Side of fries
I also signed up for their reward program and got the free blooming onion.
Drove the 20 minutes to pick up and it was ready when I arrived. When I returned home I realized I had no steak on my salad, half a container of potato fixings, a burnt and overcooked baked potato and a $22 bowl of pasta with only 3 shrimp and 2 scallops!
Called the store about the missing steak and drove back to pick it up. After speaking with the manager I then had to wait 10 more minutes for the rest of the food I already paid for to be prepared, while the rest of my food got cold at home. The manager brought me the bag with barely a sorry and that was it.
The appetizers were full of grease and even when I tried to reheat in my air fryer the mushrooms and onions stayed a mushy mess. I didn't get to eat dinner with my family and didn't enjoy any of the food I did eat.
