I have ordered through door dash many many times from this Hurricanes. I have probably spent over a thousand dollars here over the last year for lunches for me and office staff. Every single time i have ordered through door dash, Hurricane's in Stuart forgets my drink. Every time, I call and say hey just so you know you all forgot my drink, again, please don't forget next time. They say sorry it wont happen again, and I keep ordering because i really love the grilled chicken there, and was hoping that with time, if i called and told them about the missing drink that things would improve. I have to say, the amount of money i have spent ordering door dash from this place, to just have the bar tender/to go person or whoever is in charge of to go orders, blatantly ignore the drink order, every, single, time, is very insulting to me as a patron and so today when I called I was very frustrated with her and told her hey you forgot my drink AGAIN, she tried to apologize half handedly again and I told her I do not accept her apology this time and said to please fix it and stop forgetting my drink! She then rudely said "Well then you know what! Quit ordering from here!" And hen she hung up on me, instead of offering me any sort of resolution. After she hung up, I went on here looking at reviews and there it was in black and white, there are several people that have put reviews on door dash and also here that say they are missing drinks from there order. Listen, there are bigger fish to fry in this world, but as a thirsty business owner, nothing is more annoying then placing trust in an order, them letting you down multiple times, even after trying to help, just to get told not to order anymore, by an employee that I am sure the owner depends on. I really think she figures that she doesn't have to get the customers drinks because her job is secure. I really hope the higher ups see her for what she is and what she is doing, and fixes their service, and hires someone who thinks the drink to a food order, are equally as important especially when you have nothing to drink at work, and you spent the money on door dashing a drink along with your...
Read moreThe customer service has increasingly become worse. When I call the restaurant they treat me as if I am inconveniencing them. The food was enjoyable when I first tried it, now it is old or poorly made. I'm not sure why things have changed so drastically but the customer service and food preparation is grotesque. I tried giving them one last chance today but was placed on hold for over 10 mintues three total times. This was my last straw. I will not be returning. If you know of a good wing place please let me know.
Update: So after living in Stuart for some time, I realized the treatment I receive is because of my race and area code. When I call an establishment, I'm treated different when the caller ID displays my area code, or I provide it. (as my voice is racially ambigious) Same reaction is given once some whites and hispanics see my skin color. Good news is: I found an amazing wing place. The restaurant is called Charleys and guess what?! It is located in Walmart! The customer service was refreshing, and the staff is diverse. The food is 3 times as good as Hurricane Wings. I am so happy I found a non-racist establishment in Stuart. The location is: 4001 SE Federal Hwy...
Read moreThe atmosphere is great, the perfect storm appetizer was phenomenal. Absolutely delicious. The wings are great, and there are many interesting flavors to choose from. However, the service was unfortunately very poor. I am a Bartender and server myself, and I know great service when it's given. We were not checked on at all until my husband actually got up from the table and went to find the server. She was a sweet girl, but I strongly feel like she has quite a lot to learn about customer service. To be completely honest, I noticed the amount of attention she gave some of the other tables and felt like she assumed maybe they were bigger tippers. I left her 20%, but not because she earned it, rather because it was a way for me to say, "Next time don't judge a book by its cover"... Perhaps if she had given us the service that every guest deserves she would have gotten the 35% I leave every other server. When I go out to eat, I tip others like I would like to be tipped, unless the experience is like this one. It felt wrong leaving her $10. I should have left her the 10% she thought I would. It's unfortunate when good food is mixed with bad service. I probably...
