Matilda's — Local services in Stuart

I hate to post reviews like this but I would never want others to experience what my mother and I did while in Matilda’s. We entered the store and was never greeted by anyone and the nasty looks we received was disgusting just because we had just came from the beach. Shortly after arriving, another guest entered dressed very nicely and was immediately greeted. The whole experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth and would never want others to feel the same. I have heard awful stories from others who have experienced similar treatment but I figured I would see for myself. I went in today and asked them where the Frank & Eileen garments were, a girl hesitantly pointed over to a rack. I was never once greeted, asked if I needed help or anything else. Another younger girl came in and they were all over her. Bunch of snobs and the clothing is crap (except for F&E) marked up. The owner brags she lives waterfront, no wonder she's a ripoff. Go spend your money where you are treated with respect. Never ever will step foot in there again. Was in April Daze as well and the sales girls were awesome, they have really great clothing...

This is a cute store with magnificent merchandise, however I will never shop here again. I was in the store for 20+ minutes and was never greeted or assisted. I was wearing a t shirt, jeans and tennis shoes rather than my usual Lilly dress and Jack Rogers sandals and was treated like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Another lady entered the store (dressed in Lully) and was promptly greeted and assisted as she shopped for a dress for her upcoming event. Will...
