Affordable Flowers — Local services in Sturgis

I hired Affordable Flowers to do my wedding flowers on September 5th, 2020. I have to say I absolutely loved my bouquet and arch flower spray! They turned out to be exactly what I was envisioning and beautiful vibrant colors. However, my bouquet was constantly losing the roses out of it before my first look even took place. It seemed as though the stems had been cut too short and I was constantly having to try to put the roses back into the bouquet. The boutonnieres were pretty but each of the mens front flowers drooped over immediately upon placing them on the men. Before the ceremony we ended up just breaking off the front flowers because they looked dreadful. I guess they should have had floral wire to help hold them upright. Heather was very friendly and knowledgeable about her flowers and took lots of notes during our meetings but was extremely difficult to communicate with through email and text. I would be told when I'd receive a price quote or updates but wouldn't hear anything and eventually would have to call to get any answers. Her prices were very affordable and she worked hard to make sure she could create what I was looking for. While my flowers were gorgeous, what I won't forget is that my memorial charms of my dad and grandpas were suppose to be tied to my bouquet but when I got my flowers they were no where to be found. After multiple phone calls, I was told it would be 2 hours before they could get them to me as they had been forgotten at the shop. I never really got an apology and was told "things happen". These were very important to me and they were not in my bouquet for any of my photographs and left me more than upset while getting ready for what should have been one of the happiest...

My daughter, who lives out of Sturgis, ordered some flowers for me for Mother’s Day. The flowers never arrived. My daughter repeatedly phoned to find out what happened. She had a hard time getting any response and any calls back to find out what had happened. Finally she was told the flowers had been delivered. After my daughter told me that I went down to the flower shop to make sure they knew I hadn’t received any flowers and they must have delivered to wrong address. The lady said she would talk to her drivers and get to the bottom of it. I have not heard anything back and can’t leave a message because her phone mail box is full. I went back down there today and the lady said she was too busy and hadn’t done anything to find out what happened. This is the worst customer service I have ever had!!! I will certainly not be ever doing business...

Affordable Flowers did all of our wedding flowers and they turned out amazing! And “affordable” is in the name so deservingly! Heather worked with me on every aspect of our flowers and made my dreams come true. And just because they are affordable does not mean the flowers lack on quality! I had many children in our wedding party and the boutonnières and bouquets survived them well without falling apart!
