This place is full of liars and rude staff that if there concerts were not free I would say stay away from this place! don't eat there food it sucks its all outta of a box! the head management ride around on four wheels or hang out back with the entertainment being big shots! they have no originality to add to the rally! other then they got 3rd floor that's now no longer being used for anything other then to get a beer or a good view! the buffet on the 2nd floor is typical of boxed and deep fried food and pizza at least that's made there might be the biggest place in sturgis but lacks Oh I don't know GOOD leadership! A Goal my advice go to the KNUCKLE! THE LOUD AMERICAN! for some real food hit up MAIN ST. and avoid for every other thing other the the concerts! that's all there worth there MC seams cool meet him he was Nice! in the end this is my advice this place doesn't deserve a one star rating if you want food Main st. all the way. a good view its got that great view! from the basically closed off 3rd floor! there are other places in sturgis that have better food! better girls! better staff! Let's start with what I love. I love free concerts at the Iron horse. I love the venue itself. The view over looking the main drag during rally is outstanding. The balcony is one of my favorite places to catch a beer and a clear view of the stage. But being on the ground close to the stage rocks as well the sites and sounds are amazing. However I do not think I will be dining in the resteraunt during the rally again. Maybe it is the covid nonsense or world events.. maybe It was just the night idk. But while I can certainly understand a reduced menu I was frankly saddend by the food we received. No seasoning on anyone's fries but my boyfriends burger had what appeared to be 1 tablespoons worth on it. I went for the grilled cheese by a fancy name I don't recall as the description of it on sourdough bread and multiple cheeses sounded great. It was a greasy and unattractive but positively oozing 🧀 out from between what appeared to be 2 soggy hamburger buns. The fries were terrible and still cold. I admittedly have been to the Iron horse many, many times in the last 9 years. I've seen many, many great artists there, and not once have I ever had a problem, until last night at the Tech N9ne concert. Last night I got kicked out by the worst security I have ever experienced at a concert in my life, ever (And I have seen A LOT.) I was sober and got thrown in the mix by simply wanting to film up next to the barricade, and got accused by surrounding drunk people of stuff I didn't do, while being threatened by the other "concertgoers" and security. The security who drug me out by the neck for literally nothing (Accusing me of being ennebriated when I was 100% sober, mind you,) last night should be ashamed of themselves, at the bare minumum definitely lose their jobs. Before last night I would have rated it 5/5, and encouraged people to go. But now, I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE PEOPLE NOT TO GO TO THE IRON HORSE SALOON. ABYSMAL...
