I went i for a hair cut by Candy. She did a great job! My hair needed toning and I typically go to another salon but but she said she could get it done. I showed her a picture of what it looks like so she could get the right gray. The toner was left in my hair maybe 10 minutes tops. I’m used to it being in my hair at least 20 minutes. She blew dry it out and told me if I have any problems to be sure and come back in and she’ll take care of it. Guaranteed service right?! When I contacted the salon three days later because the toner did not take throughout all my hair and left only strips that were gray I went back and was treated like I was robbing them of time. when I showed the lady the picture again she made the comment…”well, now that you should be the picture I know what you want.” When she made that comment I knew there was going to be no accountability from her. She was very rough with my hair. I will say that she tried to be cordial but you could tell it wasn’t genuine even. I will never return to the salon because of how they treated me on my return to try to get what I paid for. I called this salon to book an appointment for Keratin treatment. The owner on the other hand advised me to do a Brazilian blowout as he saw better results before on his clients. So I went with that… The day of my appointment I met with my stylist who was friendly and responsive to my Brazilian blowout questions. I told her about my hair type and that it doesn’t have any frizz but rather curls that I wanted to straighten and smooth. Ashley (my stylist) assured me that my hair will look just great and that I will only use minimal heat to style it which I believed after I walked out the hair salon. After 3 days, I wash my hair (I waited 3 days with the product on my hair just so I can get better results) and I was in shock! My hair hasn’t changed at all! I paid for 295$ + tips for absolutely nothing. I went ahead and called the owner who requested me to come to see with his own eyes! When he saw me, he put the blame on the hair bun and how it makes the hair looks puffy!! Too many excuses instead of apologizing and giving me a solution!
