This is the place you should be going for pizza. My mom and dad came in from San Antonio today. They are getting ready to move back. Dad was really tired so Mom and I went out to pick out tile and countertops. Dad told Mom he had eaten a peanut butter sandwich and to take her time. He added that a cheese pizza sounded better but pb did the trick. I dropped Mom off and left. Then I thought you know, how often can I surprise my dad with pizza. I didn’t know where to start looking for pizza and Google maps led me here. I called and asked how long it would take and was told 10 minutes. Perfect. I walked in and knew immediately I had chosen well. You feel peace when you walk in, and I don’t even know why. It looks like a regular pizza place. They are just so kind and everything is fresh. I had great conversations as I waited and left feeling like this is a hidden gem. Drove back and delivered the pizza and my dad loved it! He asked where the place is because it will be his pizza place when they move. I got an hour and a half extra time, just hanging out with my parents, watching my dad eat his cheese pizza. Such a gift. I cannot eat wheat products so I could only look and smell, but my dad is a man of few words and few outward emotions. He loved this pizza and truly enjoyed every bite. My...
Read moreThis review is from someone who is not restricted to halal, as a result I am comparing to the other pizza places I have eaten locally over the last 20+ years. I would not recommend.
I had a large kabab madness pan pizza togo.
To me the pizza was sub par (my benchmark being dominoes and preferences being much higher) and very expensive. The meat was very dried out and the crust was pale dry bagel like with a very crispy exterior, not what I expected from a pan pizza. The kabab meat was very hamburger like with a little spice to it. The pizza size was not listed on the site and came out smaller than I expected. I would recommend having geppettos down the street for better and cheaper pizza.
The interior seemed very sterile and not cozy, more fastfood like similar to a newer dominos or pizza hut where they don't expect you to eat there. Pro if you are getting it Togo or getting a quick bite for lunch, wouldn't really take someone there though.
Service was not friendly but not rude, short and to the point.
On the positive side ordering over the phone was painless, the website worked ok, easy to navigate, and the pizza was hot and...
Read morePizza 101 is hands down the best pizza place I’ve ever experienced. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere exudes warmth and authenticity, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The menu features a delightful array of pizzas, each crafted with top-notch ingredients and an expert touch. The crust is perfectly crisp, with a subtle chewiness that strikes the ideal balance. Toppings are fresh and generously applied, with unique combinations that showcase both creativity and respect for classic flavors.
The highlight, however, is the flavor. Each bite reveals a harmonious blend of tastes that speaks to the skill and passion behind the counter. The sauce is rich and tangy, complementing the cheese, which is perfectly melted and deliciously gooey. Whether you opt for a classic Margherita or one of their inventive specialty pies, the quality is consistently exceptional.
Moreover, the service is attentive and friendly, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. Pizza 101 doesn’t just serve pizza; it delivers an experience. For anyone who truly appreciates great pizza, this place is...
