
This gym usto be excellent unfortunately staff is changed and so have the people that come to it. Dedicated people who come every single day or singled out because they’re working harder than individuals playing on their cell phones. Newer staff members think they own the place I assume as one of them set the alarm off on me because my feet were falling too heavy while I was sprinting. The facility is open 24/5 after Covid ended, I question asked why they were not open 24 seven they stated for thorough cleaning on the weekends. However, thorough cleaning does not go on during the weekends and often little to know Cleaning goes on during the weekends. The staff shows up 10 to 15 minutes before they open the doors and the locker rooms are always disgusting first thing in the morning. The people that work during the week do a much better job the weekend. Staff is absolutely terrible and the place is often disgusting. So much so that small roaches have been seen in the locker rooms.
Again, this place used to be a place to go to to relax to work out for the staff was friendly and encourage people to work out hard and get games. Unfortunately, now it’s a cesspool of people that just wanna text on their phones employees that want to do bare minimum, and have to suffer and deal with the facility .
And just yesterday, my membership black card membership of over five years was canceled by one of the employees who clearly think they own the place. I wasn’t in the facility. I didn’t cause any issues in the facility. They simply said they seen something on my social media. Trolling members, social medias and distinguishing the accounts.
I was going to the gym every single day every day for years and when I got to call yesterday that my account was canceled it did hurt, but I was not willing to fight with the person on the phone because why would I fight with somebody to continue working out in a filthy place where people just wanna hang out and employees wanna act like they...
Read more"Judgement Zone" PF says they are judgement free. I was publicly humiliated and judged on the weight room floor by Asst. Mngr. Dominic and by my peers of the Hazleton, PA site and a friend of mine heard the entire conversation. Dominic made 100% false accusations about me and lied about what he said about me in front of Camila the Hazleton manger. Needless to say, I cancelled my membership and will never recommend PF to anyone. Apparently I was accused of "gawking". Funny thing is, I wear glasses and left my glasses in the car and I can not see anything without my glasses. How do you "gawk" when you can't see Dominic? How long was I "gawking" Dominic? What constitutes "gawking" Dominic? Was I make lude/crude faces to the gawkee Dominic? Where is your video footage of my "gawking" Dominic? Dominic either would not or could not answer any of my questions. PF is useless and I would NEVER RECOMMEND PLANET FITNESS TO ANYNONE IN ONE MILLION YEARS!!!
NOTE: To the "Gawkee"/Princess. I do not know who you are nor do I care. Some suggestions for you Princess: 1. If you don't want people to look, then do not advertise. 2. Don't flatter yourself. Remember, this is coming from a guy that can't see without his glasses.

Turns out, Dominic, there WAS NO gawking. Manager checked video and SAW NO SUCH BEHAVIOR.

Read moreNice gym with plenty of equipment. However, no in house trainers available. As a result, outside trainers, who come in on their own daily, tend to tie up equipment for hours for their own personal benefit and profit. These “trainers” are NOT employees of Planet Fitness. Often hard to get to use some of the equipment if you’re in a hurry. Initially this wasn’t a problem with only one or two such “trainers” taking advantage of the situation with only one or two clients. Now, multiple “trainers” have brought on multiple clients. (Note: this type training is NOT allowed per the rules of Planet Fitness). Managers have been made aware of the situation but to no avail as the situation continues and has gotten worse.
UPDATE: Thank you for your subsequent response to the above review. However, as stated in my initial review, site managers have already been made aware of the situation. They are very personable and attentive but claim there is not much they can do to resolve the issue. May be more appropriate for upper management to reach out to regional manager rather than just respond to my review. I will see if anything changes in the next two weeks and report.
