The history of this bookstore is intriguing and the owners have really worked hard to revive the building along with Mr Fishers continued presence this is a great opportunity to see local and new performers from around the area. Of course there is a large selection of books,records, and other to purchase including a in house coffee shop with sodas and soon to have libations aswell. Read moreIt felt as though we stumble into a magical vortex when we visited this place- my husband spotted the sign from Hwy 2 and we decided to stop and wait out the traffic. There was a local author there signing books, the most wonderful folk band playing live music, thousands of books for $2 or $4, and a huge collection of signed books. We found a dozen or so books, grabbed iced coffees in the 85° heat, and enjoyed the music so much we grabbed a CD. Who knew that this oasis existed one block from the gridlock. We will be making this a must-visit store every time...
