Five Below — Local services in Summerville

Never heard of this store until a month ago when my wife took me to the Mount Pleasent location. Upon checking out, the associate asked if we knew of the Summerville store that was opening up at the end of June. Nope, but I’m glad that person said something as it’s right around the corner from our house….which is dangerous to say the least!

Being new and in a prime location in Azalea Square, a good many of the items constantly selling out, especially in the electronics. But they restock quickly. I’ve been here at least 10 times since they opened, and the associates are super friendly and very inviting. The prices are amazing, and the selection and variety are unique as well. The fact that they have a variety of incense (4 for $1 might I add) is the cherry on top of the already stacked sundae! This quickly became my top five favorite stores, and I do not say...

Walked in store and immediately looked for a shopping cart .didn't see one and asked the 2 sales ladies that were behind the register. The one lady said, we don't have any they are all outside. Took 3 or 4 steps and seen an empty shopping cart on the other side of register. Asked if they were using the cart and they both said No and went back to they conversation. They were so into their conversation that they didn't even say anything about my friend bring in another stoes shopping cart,so she could shop. Got my few items and went to pay at the self checkout. I’ve visited a couple location in South Carolina and have had consistently great service, but my last visit to this Summerville location I was given beyond amazing service where I felt the young lady paid attention to my needs, understood the assignment and rocked it! All with a smile. I’m a pretty calm, respectful, and understanding customer where ever I go, but she handled me with so much grace and attentiveness that I know she would be just as great with a more hectic customer. She said she was new, but she gave management vibes.

You all have a special individual and I will visit this location over the others just because of this small but refreshing...
