I think it’s important to know that they charge a fee to swim and then children must pass a very strict swim test in order to go in above knee level. They failed one of my kids for her elbows not coming out of the water and the other was told they “barely” pass. These kids are on a year round swim team and know all four strokes. I watched six other kids fail and one pass. One kid failed because he touched the bottom jumping off the float. So 8 kids tested and 2 passed. My kid told me they never want to swim again after their interaction with the lifeguard testing them. Go somewhere else if your kids are above the age of 5 and actually want to swim. They won’t be able to swim here. Also no refunds if the kids don’t pass the test.
Good for small kids wading and parents who like a high supervision environment. I’d feel super safe taking a 1-4 year old here. Clean and well groomed and looks like a fun venue for a concert too, but looks inviting and is disappointing...

They only have one little part of the beach open. The other parts of the beach have signs up saying that it's closed. My daughter has autism,so she kept running by the water but only the very shallow part in the front.I was with her the whole time. The lifeguard kept watching her like a hawk...He wouldn't let us enjoy the little bit of beach water in the front.I understand they're lifeguards but they don't give you any privacy at all. Also, the water didn't seem clean we stepped in black slimy stuff. We left because this beach is a waste of time.It cost nine dollars to go in a tiny little amount of water? So many rules for such a...

I used to ride my bike to the beach and swim laps early in the morning. However, as I have picked up swimmers' or duck itch (a parasite) when I swam in Lac LaBelle, I joined the Y, swim in the pool, and only have used the beach a couple of times in the past 4 years. If you do swim, rinse off and towel dry by rubbing to reduce duck itch. The itching lasts for 2...
