Chinese Cuisine & Thai Food — Restaurant in Sumter

Two years ago i gave this restaurant five stars and said how great it was i definitely have to change that review now. I placed an order for ham fried rice and wings my ususal order when i come here after i placed an order i received a call back from the restaurant saying i placed an order for two orders of ham fried rice with honey. After i stated that wasnt my order she began to argue back and forth with me that it was then to top it off she hung up the phone in my face. I immediately called back and told her to please cancel my order. After we got off the phone about two minutes later she called back and told me someone with the same number as me called and placed that order she spoke of earlier and then asked me if i wanted to place my order again. Really? Obviously i told her no i do not want to place an order. I am stationed at the Army base in Fort Bragg North Carolina almost every weekend i drive home 2 hours to Sumter to see my family and to faithfully grab some food from my former favorite restaurant Chinese cuisine. I use to brag about this place to the other Soldiers at work well NEVER AGAIN and its a real slap in the face considering all the money i have spent at this place sincie day one when they opened. So I’m a returning Sumter native of more than 15 years and I was having a craving for some Chinese food. I know the normal spots like Teryaki Wok, China Wing, Jin Jin, etc…. But my homie told me about this place called China Cuisine on Liberty. Man, I was presently surprised of the taste, freshness, value, and quantity! About 10 bucks for this plate which enough to feed 2! The presentation was on point and honestly, I was enjoying the fried rice so much that I forgot to touch the orange chicken for a hot minute!

It’s a takeout style restaurant, there is no dining in. I would highly advise calling in your order. You can consult their menu via google.

Imma give their Orange Chicken and Fried Rice Basket a 5/5 in the realm of knowing you get what you pay for and you know what to expect with takeout orange chicken. Love the green onion garnish on the fried rice☺️☺️☺️

Bottom line, if you haven’t tried this place and enjoy American Chinese food...

I should just lead with DON"T GO HERE. I wish I had noticed the other review before I came, but I thought I would give it a shot. I ordered Chicken fried rice and paid $6 for a bunch of brown rice and 5 small (and I do mean small) chicken pieces. The woman who took my order was nice and pleasant, but apparently either the cook or the owner thinks that is what should be in CFR. My $5 loss (i did eat some of the rice). I suspect the owner doesn't much care what I think anyway, so he probably not pay any attention to poor ratings and just keep on going until he is out of business and then wonder why everyone will not come...
