I went to the sun prairie location to pick out a new nose stud. They were able to get me one just fine. However several issues were realized once I got home. The peircer did not cut the metal at all. So it was extremely long and I needed to cut it myself. I then cut the peircing myself and sanded it down so it would not stick out of my nose. I then tried to put it in and quicky realized it was not the right size. I was pierced with an 18g and have only been wearing 18. After taking it out (never really got it in in the first place) I compared it to my other 18g jewelry I had gotten from them. It was very clearly not the same size. I called right away and talked to JB, who helped me, and he was sure it was the right size, and blamed a retainer I had been wearing for a few days. I took it to another shop in Madison and the peircer their was able to tell me very quickly that they had sold me the wrong size. Then sold me the correct size. The staff and blue lotus was very rude, and belittled me in person and over the phone when I told them several times.

I will never return there again. The biggest waste of 25$. I will be calling tomorrow to explain this all to see if I can get a full refund.

Update: I went back to the shop and they were able to measure them for me. The new one compared to the one they peirced me with. The new one is larger, however because it was not a whole size bigger they were not able to help me. I am still very upset and will be throwing the jewelry...

I have been considering a nostril piercing for a while and decided to do it on my 47th birthday. I called a few other places that could not fit me in that day, and for that, I am thankful because, I was able to have it done by JB in Sun Prairie. From the moment that I walked in, I felt completely comfortable and at ease. I am beyond impressed with their professionalism, cleanliness, friendliness, and JB's extremely thorough process. I highly recommend!

Edit 2 years later I returned to the Piercing Lounge with my daughter to get a helix piercing that she has wanted for years. When we got there I was thoroghly impressed by their COVID policies, I felt very safe. When it came time for the piercing, my daughter had major reservations due to fear. Holly responded beautifully and explained everything to her step by step, showed her the equipment that she would be using and how she would use it, answered all of her questions, and completely set her at ease. Management is poor to staff and to neighboring buisnesses. Spend your money elsewhere. I wanted to get my septum pierced. It's a little deviated and had to go to 2 appointments at one blue lotus to be told no. The first one I was told. Oh i need you to book another appointment so i can look better. Me at a litteral appointment i had already scheduled. It seemed like they may have overbooked or something. I went back for the second appointment and under two minutes in the piercer said its too diviated. So I booked with another and was told yes. I went to the next shop and got it pierced that day. My septum wasn't that bad per the other piercer. Two appointments to be told no is silly. Ive had it for years now. I had a sufficient soft spot. It didnt and never really hurt. So clearly it is and was dooable. The piercer said they had been there a very long time. I had to go somewhere else to achieve this. I've also heard some pretty unsavory things about management. I also hope you all aren't truly the ones causing issues for your sun prairie...
