Very nice interior, really cool how you can see the plants being grown inside a huge glass enclosure behind the counter. This place has lots of potential to be a premium dispensary, and it’s probably the first one you encounter on the green mile so they’ll get traffic. Where they need to improve is the staff. There was a security guard at the entrance who tried making small talk, but it just came off as awkward. I had to use the ATM which is right at the entrance next to his podium, which made my time with him extra long. He’s nice, just more talkative than you’d expect from a security guard at a dispensary, felt like he was an undercover cop or something with all the questions. When I approached the counter I was welcomed by 2 bud tenders, one introduced themselves as a new employee trainee and the other as the trainer. I asked for microdose mints, and they looked at me like I asked for some moon cheese. No problem, they’ve only been open for a short time. Then they suggested an edible that was 10mg, and said I could just take nibbles because that was the lowest dose they had. Luckily the guy who knows what’s up just happened to be at the register and overheard what was happening. He knew what I was looking for and he suggested something similar, but it was still too much as I was looking for microdose (less than 5mg). He let me know they didn’t have anything lower than the 5mg doses. As I stood there thinking about it an older gentleman came in and was welcomed by the same two bud tenders that had tried to help me. He was looking for a cream topical, they looked at each other puzzled and than pulled out a balm that was a roll-on like deodorant. “No, I need something I can rub in.” “I’m sorry this is all we have.” I thought maybe he should ask the other guy, these two don’t seem to know what they have in inventory. Call me a stickler, but I think as a bud tender you should know your products like the back of your hand. If it was busy I could understand putting inexperienced people out to help, cause at least they can sell flower, but when it’s as slow as it was, maybe they should have the more knowledgeable people train the newbies so they know what they have and what to suggest. I’m sure all of these problems will work themselves out over time, cause they do have huge potential. I’ll come back after a few months to try them again. Can’t wait for their consumption lounge. Prices are a little high though. Go deeper into Sunland and you’ll pay significantly less, it’s like the price of gas, you don’t want to buy gas at the first station in town unless you’re...
Read moreNice place but the thing that bothers me is that there specials are always different. There's a lot of them and for the most part they're the same ones on same day. But it's been already a few times because of there early bird and happy hr. I make the trip only to find out the special ain't going on. Some of us drive further then others some even from other towns. I'm not gonna spend extra money for a special I get every week. I walked out didn't buy nothing instead went down the street where I found what I wanted with no special hr of when I had to be there. The brand I buy that specific day not many stores sell them cause I've been told there Brand on the box don't look great it looks to plain. I personally think it's one of the best and it be shame if it's not sold no more cause of a simple technicality and branding. Hopefully when I'm ready to buy that product again I don't run into this dilemma again. Also I hate the fact that your top shelf jars just came out. I feel like this place has been holding out on good herb and selling us crap when the contents of these jars existed before you decided...
Read moreI have always liked this place and it has always been my go to but I am going to be going elsewhere from now on. The last two times I have made a purchase , the budtender (not the same one) has given me the wrong change which was short. This happened both when I went inside and through the drive through . The first time it happened I was charged $55, paid $60 and got 5 bucks back. When I got home I looked at the receipt and the actual price was $53. The guy kept 2 bucks. I went yesterday and went through the drive through and woman helped me . She charged me $50 and I paid $60 and got my change back. I admit I had forgotten about the other incident and drove home. So when I looked at the receipt I noticed the actual price was $48.35. She shorted me $1.65. Now these are just two of the times I have checked , I don’t want to even know how many times this has happened before. It is not about the money , it’s the principal. Like if you are shorting people on change, how am I to trust that you are weighing my stuff out correctly? This place was cool but drifting towards shady territory....
