I have been a loyal customer of 102 Nails and Spa for quite some time now, and I can't recommend this place enough! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Went here once, was visiting Broward County & found on google review nearby me while doing my hair. Clean spot. Owner, Annie did my nails. Had removal of Gel X/Apres, then did Hard Gel Manicure with 3D Flower Design. No cuts, no bleeding, efficient. I walked in quick in & out. The workers there spoke English. She’s professional & friendly. Greeted on arrival.

Clear with the costs- telling me what it would be beforehand. No cost displayed online. I forgot to take a picture of the Costs on the display in the store. Spacious area.

Possible CON persons: majority of clients seem to get Acrylic/Power nails. I don’t like Acrylic. The pencil UV light really hurt my nails when curing the Hard Gel. idk if Uv strength was too strong. I asked why. she said because my nails were weak from the Apres/Gel X but that has never happened to me b4, maybe light was too strong not sure.

I saw the good reviews and walked in for a pedi. Immediately I saw it had to be very good by the looks of the clientele, who were clearly very serious and discerning about nails. So I took my seat. But a couple minutes later I had to leave. The fumes. There is very inadequate ventilation. Very small space, low ceilings, crowded, trying to cool with too-small of an air-con on recirculate and keeping the door closed. They are using some serious lacquers or something and it was like being in a glue jar. Seriously noxious, I wanted to say something to the workers of what a major long-term health risk they are enduring. Where is the Norma Rae of nail workers!?!?. There needs to me some regulation I guess. In the mean time, as for this establishment, perhaps at very slow times when not many people are getting work done.
