Won't go here anymore, and here's why. .... my engagement ring is a hand me down from my fiancee's mom. It has emerald and diamond in it and is gold. Well I am allergic to gold so my fiancee decided to go to Nummis to ask if it was possible to coat it in silver. Whoever she talked to was very rude and told her that there's no point in coating the gold with something else, since it would just rub off and we'd have to recoat it again and again. We then had to get it resized because it was too big and they made it too small. I have a scar on my finger from the ring being too tight, and once they resized it they didn't change the space for my stone so it was loose. We then had to bring it back to get the space fixed and they managed to somehow break my stone. TheY told us it'd be a couple of days to fix the spacing and after two weeks my fiancee called and they told her they broke my stone. In my mind that's very unprofessional we shouldve been called and informed. They did replace my stone but we still had to pay for it. I am really disappointed with the experience we've had...
Read moreStart to finish: I got engaged my ring was a size 7 and needed to be a 4 - understandable they said that which ever small diamonds fall out is a certain amount for each one .. got it sized and was great. When I picked up my ring they told me that "it was a true princess ring" and that I shouldn't wear it while doing dishes, lifting anything heavy, sleeping, while wearing gloves, etc.. I left asking myself "when am I ever suppose to wear this. FORWARD TO RECENTLY... my wedding is a month away and the spot on the ring where they resized it came apart ... I went in there and they resized me, said I was still a size four .. they didn't warranty their faulty work AND the manager looked around her computer and LITTERALLY told me "MAYBE YOU GAINED SOME WEIGHT" I was APPALLED!!!! Just what every bride wants to hear before their wedding .. they said my ring was NEVER meant to be a size 4 ... why not tell me that the first time... I took my ring back and walked out CRYING!! I couldn't believe that just happened!! I would suggest spending your money elsewhere...
Read moreShould be Zero stars ! A ring my father bought almost 50 years ago from Nummie’s, for my mother. That they handed down to me. I haven’t been able to wear it for 12 yrs as the band broke. I’ve gone to TOP OF THE LINE jewelers, they HONESTLY told me it was Non repairable. Now that I moved back home, where the original jeweler is, for a Christmas present my father went to Nummis, they said they could fix it. They knew he wanted it fixed and sized for me to wear. Almost a month later they call and charge $100 for a repair but the ring Cannot Be worn! Why would we spend that money? Why repair something if it cannot be worn? I am absolutely appalled by the horrible customer service. Heartbroken. You should have been upfront, like other jewelers had been. But you said you could fix it, knowing it was going to be worn. But you fix it, want to charge for the repair of a ring that...
