Central Pub — Restaurant in Superior

This is my absolute favorite place to go. Granted the parking is not ideal unless you steal a tenant spot which I try very hard not to do. I absolutely adore the atmosphere. I absolutely adore all of the food. I absolutely adore all of the staff. Everything about this place is fantastic (besides aforementioned parking) and I could not recommend it more. I love their wings! Back in the day they were Tavern 105 out of South Superior. Now with a new central location that has pros and cons, they have a phenomenal staff that still delivers excellent service and amazing food. You will not find wings that could surpass these. The breading on the wings is superb, and the flavor of every single wing I have tried has been top-notch. Did I mention the staff is amazing? The staff is one of the best parts of going here. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely fast. I have not ever had a bad encounter with any staff. If you have yet to go here, you need to go here. Like literally you'd have to go here and try everything because honestly it's the best. They're tap selection is also great. I no longer drink, but when I visit the restaurants with other people they enjoy their alcohol selection. I would say this is also kid-friendly to, because the bar is removed from some of the seating areas. I'm not sure what I thought I would find in a rapidly dilapidating town with minimal to nonexistent attractions; a local restaurant with poor professionalism and customer service should have topped the list. We waited to be seated (as instructed by the sign by the door) for over 10 mins. Keep in mind the restaurant was not busy, and the silly waitress was busy chucking it up with other customers while she clearly saw us waiting by the door, and other customers kept staring at us. Out of frustration (because the girl was too blind to see us or didn't have the decency to inform us that she was busy and needed more time before seating us), we immediately left the restaurant. It was evident the waitress was not up to doing her job. Whatever the "great service" the people in the comment was referring to, I cannot confirm. I never received any. Central Pub is the best bar/pub in the tri-state area, hands-down. The seating is comfortable and well-tended-to by incredibly kind staff - who always treat you well if you treat THEM well, as they're ferrying around multiple orders at a time on the busiest days - and you will NOT find a better fried chicken wing basket and Bleu Cheese dip in the Midwest.
