Up until recently, I had been somewhat of a regular customer at their location on Belknap in Superior. My experiences shopping at that location were always great. I'd come in during the early evening after work, and the guy who's usually working alone around that time has always been great, consistently providing friendly, above-and-beyond service.
That said, my opinion of this company as a whole has taken a sharp nosedive due to a terrible online shopping experience. I live in Duluth, and am currently experiencing car trouble, so I decided to try placing an order online on 01/23/25. The order was shipped via USPS on 01/24, and long story short, it is now 01/29, and it appears that the shipment has gotten stuck/lost down in St. Paul.
I called Sutherland's phone number that's listed on their website while on a break at work today to see what can be done about this, and how to go about with receiving a refund in the event that the shipment has been lost. A man answered the phone and was generally very rude and unhelpful, not listening to what I was asking or answering my questions, but rather explaining to me what I can clearly already see myself on the USPS tracking page. At one point, he passed the phone to his "boss", a lady, who was no less rude and unhelpful. She spoke to me as if it was the dumbest thing in the world to expect them, the retailer, to take responsibility for a lost shipment of their product, which was shipped under their own shipping account with USPS. Instead, she told me that I, the customer, will need to go through the trouble of making a claim with USPS in order to maybe be compensated.
This all could have been handled so much better and with so much more grace. It's been awhile since I've experienced such terrible, careless customer service.

Thanks to his tenacity and diligence and hustle, he has managed to produce and purvey his very own branded D9 THC seltzers in EPIC time to meet the demands of consumers and I am so eagerly awaiting the arrival of these tomorrow to adorn the shelves of my own store!
Also? He straight up bought an old, abandoned gas station in Superior, Wisconsin, renovated it, and turned it into a cannabis cocktail lounge/ice cream shop for grown-ups where you can have your drinks or ice cream āspikedā at checkout ļæ¼ š¤©š

I went in to Sutherland CBD Products and Sales and spoke to a woman (I forget her name) but, Craig's mom. I went in last Friday feeling desperate and worried for my daughter- ready to take her to the Mayo Clinic for her physical limitations. They gave me a sample of some salve that we have yet to try on her muscles. This is besides the point. On top of her physical limitations she has been having sleep issues. She'd wake up and stay awake in bed- this has been going on for months. She has no electronics and doesn't turn on her TV at night when she wakes up. Her mind races. She has anxiety. Sutherlands recommended the melatonin + CBD gummies so I got a sample pack and started giving them to her Sunday night. They recommended I start with half the gummie and increase as needed. Well, it's been two nights. Just two, and I'm amazed and enthused at the results we are having! The first night she said she woke up once and last night she didn't wake up at all! š³ Woah! That's coming from a kid who wakes up 10+- times a night sometimes. I can't wait to keep trying her on this product. I'm impressed! I'm so glad we have a small, local, knowledable and trustworthy CBD shop...
