A shell of what it once was under past ownership of Tom a couple years ago. Don't waste your time stopping.

So much of the physical music media has been tossed in exchange for pushing the space to more of a trading card/table top spot. Yeah, thats what the area needs: more table top game spots (we have several, we dont need more). What physical music media they have, is either dollar bin, horrible condition or overpriced cherry picked titles. Ever heard of a little band called The Beatles? How about Taylor Swift?... Clearly they are riding the "vinyl is trendy now, so lets only carry what will move from the shelves" wave (aka no gems, all basic taste trash). You see this soulless, money grabbing wave happening in record shops with no love or care for supporting a music scene nor carrying rare finds/niche music tastes. Saw the same thing happen to Treehouse Records in Minneapolis, its a crime.

I used to spend hours and hours in the store when Tom ran it who spent decades building its reputation.

I've tried visiting multiple times since Tom sold a couple years back, trying to be optimistic but when I saw more and more major changes happening. And less and less care into the music media, I gave up. I refuse to give them my business.

Now I only shake my head in disgust as I drive by.

This place was alright. I thought the prices were reasonable and solid, the tape selection was limited but had some killer titles like Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Bangles, Skid Row, etc. However, the bins are super hard to flip through, they are way taller than traditional bins and way longer and nearly impossible to reach to and see what is in the back of the bins. I think the organization of the store could also use some work, but still a neat place to check out for some...

Positive thing about this place is they have a good variety of vinyls cds and tapes at a good price but the credit card machine doesn't work half the time me and a friend had tried using are cards multiple times and no go!!! and they don't provide orders if your looking for something specific they like to forget your correct change amount to if you pay with...
