The cashier was extremely friendly, and the store’s cat added a charming touch. The antiques themselves were fascinating.

However, my experience was marred by the presence of an older woman who made my visit deeply uncomfortable. She glared at my family the entire time we were there and audibly made racist remarks, such as questioning our presence in the store and making derogatory comments about "our kind eating cats".

While I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinions, going out of one’s way to make others feel unwelcome is unacceptable and simply unprofessional in that kind of workplace setting (especially for paying customers it's simply bad business behavior; I had the intention to purchase some items). This experience has certainly tainted my perception of the store and I cannot in good conscience recommend...

Definitely not a cool place! Super racist older lady that made me feel unwelcome due to the color of my skin and made multiple comments as I was browsing. She even called me a slur, which is crazy in this day and age. The cashier that was there seemed embarrassed by her remarks, so I feel bad that they have to work with such an unpleasant woman. Left immediately, and I would not recommend anyone else visit...

Love this shop! The owner is such a sweet lady, and she has such an amazing selection of quality antiques, I find treasures to bring home with me every time I shop there. It is so fun looking at all of the items she has, there is a LOT to look at, something for everyone! Anyone visiting Sutter Creek who is interested in antiques, vintage items, or just wants to look at a bunch of cool stuff should stop by...
