I just left $70 worth of products lying on the shelves and walked out after one of the female employees rudely asked me if I planned on buying something because they were closed. Instead of approaching me a few moments before closing and saying something politely, she showed her lack of manners and common courtesy by basically kicking me out after closing up and locking me in. When I told her that I wished they would have told me they were closing she said, "Our hours are on the door!", and shut it behind me. I wasn't standing next to the door staring at the hours - I was trying to shop for a few things before heading home and I was simply unaware of the time. I understand that she has probably had a long day also and was just wanting to go home, but that was no excuse for her attitude. I wasn't rude to her and I wasn't being difficult so I was taken aback at the way she approached me to begin with. I've worked in customer service a long time, and that is NOT how you treat a customer under any circumstances. I will be contacting the manager as soon as possible and will also be contacting headquarters about her poor attitude. I won't be going back to...
Read moreThis store itself has very helpful, friendly, and professional staff, but it gets a lot of traffic and might not be fully stocked sometimes. Regarding CVS as an entity, their prices are not competitive on a lot of products. It seems that CVS charges double to triple the price on many products, compared to grocery stores, other drug stores, and warehouse stores. It really looks a lot like price gouging when comparing CVS prices with competitors. Why? If we didn't have coupons, we wouldn't bother to shop at CVS today. For example, on our visit today, CVS was charging almost $46 for a regular-sized bottle of vitamin C that goes for at least $15 cheaper than that at their competitors. Deodorants that go for $5 to $8 at competitors will cost $15 at CVS. Really?! Why, CVS? The company can still make a healthy profit without overpricing consumers. Customers deserve quality merchandise at fair and competitive prices. Consumers need responsible and compassionate care from drug stores, and CVS is not living up to the social contract that a company that sells healthcare products should...
Read moreThe pharmacy is great and has a friendly staff. I always get my prescriptions on time and they go the extra mile. The merchandise side, however, is a nightmare. I quit shopping there regularly a long time ago. The registers are constantly closed with nobody in sight. One day I asked an associate to check me out because I had coupons, and she replied, "Hold on, I have to finish this first." I've worked in retail, and she was doing a 'planogram, ' which is rearranging the merchandise. As a former manager at AutoZone, I know all about this process. The first thing is that if a customer needs assistance of any kind, the associate is to stop IMMEDIATELY and assist the customer. The merchandise isn't going anywhere! I would have fired her on the spot. It's not a personal attack; they ALL do things like this all the time. I've put my purchases back numerous times because of this. Should walk out with the things if there's nobody there to check customers out! Too bad that's not my nature! HORRIBLE PRICES, as well! Everything they have is half the price...
