As a business, we’re really not in the habit of giving our vendors and suppliers reviews, however, upon reflection, perhaps we simply haven’t encountered the level of professionalism, skill, and value in our 60+ years of business that we have with Mark and his Cazillia Audio crew.
As a pro fab shop, we’ve really never had the need for specialty audio work, and mainly allied with other fabricators, raw material providers, car manufacturers, and, of course, a veritable cornucopia of professional race teams spanning ARCA to SCCA to USAP. But as the political landscape changed, so, to, did regulatory bodies and, of course, the economy, leading to the sad demise of many of the teams and projects we supported.
Pivoting into what amounted to full, turnkey custom work was easy, but for upholstery (ha) and the nuanced art of car audio and related electronics.
That’s where Mark comes in.
After a lengthy search involving several failed partnerships with so-called specialists, we heard so many positive things about Cazillia through the grapevine, that we sucked it up and decided to trailer what would become the first of many projects to his Pittsburgh shop.
Often blocked from the street by a giant RV or boat the crew is outfitting with everything from TVs to fiber optic lighting, the shop is easily the Mayo Clinic of automotive electronics— laboratory, clean, extraordinarily well lit spaces, serve as fabrication and install bays for everything from the aforementioned recreational vehicles to classic American iron, incredible Harley baggers that make anything from the West Coast or Orange County look like toys, and high-end vehicles that heretofore, we’ve never even seen in person let alone completely disassembled with less than 10 miles on them. It’s quite a sight to watch Mark and his crew tear apart a Mercedes Maybach down to its bare bones even before the owner ever took actual delivery from the dealer. And of course, when here she gets it back, Mark’s work is so seamless and better than factory quality that they will never know anything was done until turning things on.
And that’s where the magic really happens— Mark does so much more than me car, audio and electronics— wraps, custom body and paint work, bespoke, speaker, enclosures, and if you twist his arm a little bit, even some upholstery.
Most importantly, this is a shop that can work on everything from your average Kia to a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and anything in between. They have a supreme knowledge of modern electronics, including CAN systems and the ridiculous, complicated computers that hide in all the crevices of today’s BMWs and Mercedes.
But they can also take your thousand horsepower 56 F100 and deaden its open exhaust so it sounds like a factory XLT off today’s showroom floor so you can still hear every bit of treble, mid range, and bass Toby Keith belts out while you chirp through the gears.
They can also tune modern rides so well that some of us fabricators are slowly falling by the wayside. There’s no need for complicated turbo and supercharged induction systems and stainless steel headers and exhaust when a guy like Mark can take your ECU and TCU and burn a program into it. That far exceeds the performance levels near mechanical tweaks can offer.
The bottom line is Mark and his crew are consummate pros in a sea of wannabes. They can take on any project with authority and skill, and at a costs, we still can’t believe. They have never let us down in the last decade and a half, and are constantly honing their technique while learning new ones to deal with the ever increasing crop of technologically advanced modern vehicles— so much though that we occasionally referred to Mark as Elon Junior.
Regardless of what you drive or whether you want a single DIN unit installed or fiber optic stars in your headliner and a remotely rising LED screen for your back VIP passengers in a boat, bus, or your average every day car, we do not hesitate to recommend Cazillia audio.

Read moreI went to Cazillia audio to get some updates on my 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. I wanted a new head unit that used Carplay. I called about 5 companies before calling Cazillia so I had a good feel for which company could do what services. Mark at Cazillia was the most impressive out of them all. The first thing that impressed me was that he was very pleasant to talk to and didn't give me the impression I was bothering him or taking him away from something. He then asked me the right questions so I knew he had experience already which was very important. So it was clear that he was very knowledgeable and capable. So this along with the great reviews sealed the deal for me so I decided to give him the work along with an updated sound system. For the sound system I really was indecisive. I couldn't make up my mind and Mark was extremely patient and helped me make the right decision. I dropped the car off when I scheduled my families week vacation. When I got the car back I was not only happy with the work that they did but they exceeded what they promised. The very first thing is that Mark was under his estimated cost. They did a very clean install and were able to relocate my existing screen that controls the heating and air to a lower position in the console. Some other local companies suggested relocating it in the center console which would have been terrible to deal with. My new setup looks like it came straight from the car manufacturer off the assembly line. They also made me custom tweeter holders and didn't charge for it. They also made me a bass knob so I can control how much I want (and didn't charge for it). The entire system works and sounds amazing. A week after I got the car back, Mark called me just to check in and make sure everything was good and that I was satisfied. Not too many companies will follow up with you after the check is cashed which shows how dedicated this company is to customer service. I asked Cazillia to make a few updates and changes for me after the initial install and they did any outstanding job. So overall I couldn't be more pleased. Great combination of customer service and quality installation. I highly recommend them. BTW: I am very...
