Ten months ago, this was a five-star review, now updated. I spent a year as a customer—carrying a home policy, three autos, and three personal item policies—paying nearly $6,000 annually.

In that entire year and five office visits, Patricia never once introduced herself or acknowledged me as a customer. The first time she engaged at all was when State Farm refused to renew my coverage after a single small homeowner’s claim—the only claim I’ve made in nearly twenty years of homeownership

Her staff never explained that filing a claim within the first 12 months put me at risk of being dropped. They even counted a zero-dollar claim against me when I asked for inspection from wind damage. When it came time to renew, the office refused to continue coverage, not even with a higher premium or deductible.

I expect their response will be that it’s “State Farm’s policy.” That doesn’t change the fact that her office failed to warn me of the risk when I left a competitor after 17 years of continuous coverage. Nor does it excuse the poor customer service of an agent who never once acknowledged my business beyond cashing my checks.

I’ve pulled all of my accounts with Patricia and State Farm and will be moving on to a company that values its customers. I suggest others...

Anybody that got stuck with Tim Hoffman Allstate insurance from Joyce bonnett on Weaverville highway in Asheville or woodfin I was with Allstate many years but got stuck with Tim Hoffman insurance agency in Hendersonville mind you so I call and got a quote from Patricia Bryson at State farm she's wonderful to take the time to speak with you in my rates went down I don't know how Tim Hoffman's even stand in business his staff is very rude with the customers you ask him to call personally to his staff to make a complaint and they won't tell him I called corporate on him anyway but I did switch to State farm if you want a good agent look up Patricia Bryson she'll give you a good price she beat all state by 127 for me at the big savings way prices are today and she took time with her customers tip Hoffman don't care then rude and considerate so you want a good insurance agent and you want to switch try Patricia Bryson woke her up she'll do it over the phone for you so have you been numbers devil what kind of cover you want now I don't have to deal with Tim Hoffman and shame I had to leave Allstate after 15 years all they ever did was make money on me the reason why they went downhill they bought national general I believe I know they bought...

I had been through two other insurance companies who denied the house I just purchased for a few reasons. I ended up calling this State Farm about a FAIR policy. Lucky for me, it was Tracy who answered when I called. We discussed the policy in-depth and she explained that due to a tropical storm coming to the NC coast no FAIR policies could be written but that she would call me as soon as they could be written again-this was on a Thursday I believe. The following week she reached out and let me know she could now write the policy as the memorandum was lifted. She quickly got me coverage, explained the photos needed for the policy and that I could take them and send them to her or that she could come take them. She explained the process of switching to a state farm policy when I am able and that was the end of it. It was such a quick and easy process even with the bureaucracy that comes with a FAIR policy. I can only imagine how easy it would be to get a regular home policy through her! I can’t recommend Tracy enough. After a year of dealing with several other agents she was my light at the end...
