My husband and I were traveling through and purchased a big piece of art work. We wanted to protect it during our travels and had asked the front cashiers if they had anything we could wrap it with. Three cashiers were working, one stated “go to staples” and the other stated “no, we don’t have anything”. We kept pushing our question because we knew they had something, even if just a big trash bag. That’s where Terri comes in. Terri didn’t start with a no or an “I’m just a cashier mindset”. She reached out to receiving and when she couldn’t hear them, she walked to the back as we followed her and she walked out with a huge cardboard that was the perfect size. I would have given this store 5 stars but had the worst customer experience twice at the store on Montgomery road after dealing with their store agent, Marina. She has no idea how to be respectful with customers. No smile on the face, does not realize that customers who are buying stuff are paying your store for that and not taking away your private property and you need to deal with them respectfully. Today, she even told my husband who was carrying my kid in his lap to go through all the zigzag rows even though there was no one else in the line. We bought a LaZboy chair, it was a good value. I am not here to the review the chair, nor do I yet have knowledge about its durability as we just purchased the chair last week. The store was very busy on a Friday afternoon around 5 p.m. Definitely the busiest I've seen any HomeGoods location. This is a good sign. The store was very well maintained, teeming with orderly doodads and knick-knacks. A staff member helped me put the chair in the truck, and even smiled while doing so.
