Well, this is an interesting one for the books. I came to the store the Friday before Labor Day, thinking they were open (Google said yes), but when I arrived the sign on the door said open, but all was dark. Hmmm, maybe just haven't opened. Nobody inside, so I emailed the address from Google and said "Your ad and door says open today, but you're not?" Unfortunately, Mr Android "I know better" spell checker (or my big fingers) jumped in and sent a somewhat different text, only changing AD to something else, where the S is right next to the D. OK, a couple days later I looked at my email and thought...well, you know. Anyway, I sent an apology on behalf of Mr Android and myself and they said they were sorry they weren't open. SO, on with the review. I was pleasantly surprised with the place and expected to see people in suits, fancy dresses or whatever and everyone was casually (comfortably) dressed. The conversation was very professional, instructive, informative and sometimes even funny. (yes, they didn't know about the foo-foo) with the email until I mentioned it. It was not an instant expectation of sales or whatever. It's customer oriented, and if you don't see what suits you, pet the cute puppy and be on your merry way. The place is arranged well and able to give you on-the-spot information. They've been in business a long time, and I can see why. The best jewelry store in the Seattle-Tacoma area hands down. This is a family owned and operated business. They take pride in pleasing their customers even if you are at their store just to browse. From the moment my wife and I walked in to get several rings resized and purchase a precious stone for one of the ring, until we picked them all up less than a week later, the staff took a genuine interest in what we wanted. There was no pressure whatsoever to purchase something more expensive than what we desired. One post in my diamond ring had a loose post and it was pointed out and I authorized the repair of the ring. And, the quality of the workmanship is second to none. I went to this business to have a ring sized I bought on eBay. When I entered the store and went to the counter and explained what I wanted the man behind the counter was snooty and looked at me like I was diseased . He took the ring from me and took it over to his magnifing equipment,looked at it then came back and told me it was not possible to size it due to the setting. He claimed no jeweler could size it without destroying the setting and risking the stones falling out since they were already loose and wiggling around . HE was very condescending and acted like my piece of jewelry was absolutely garbage . After I left I took it to another store and the man told me the reason the stones were loose is because it had been sized down . and sizing it back up would tighten the stones back to where they should be . He did size it and it is perfectly fine and didn't fall apart . in my opinion these people have very little experience with anything that's not a simple prong setting and need to learn how to repaor newer styles .
