This store is very much helpful when it comes to your video game and electronic needs. When it comes to the staff I will say it's hit and miss to which staff member you get. When you ask for help you can get someone who seems actually pleased to help you or someone who seems condescending and short handed, but that doesn't keep me from visiting this store.
Most of the time I get an energetic employee that gets me excited about games I've been looking forward to buying and games that haven't even come out yet which is great! Video games are there for you to talk about, stir conversation with friends and people who have hobbies in common with you. That is the experience I look forward to going into a Game shop.
Overall it comes down to the people who work there, considering theres about 5 gamestops in the area that you can visit instead . This game stop isn't bad at all. Employees have never been rude with me (besides the occasional but rare short handedness), they've always helped me out with questions and concerns about games or consoles, and if they don't know an answer to my question they'll look it up without hesitation.
I'm a pretty advent gamer so i'll go to this store once every two weeks, sometimes just to browse and I never had a major problem with anyone...

I'm not just saying this because they're great, but also advising people to get to know the staff. They are just like everyone else, yes they may work for gamestop, but they have to work and earn a living too. Be easy on them and the reviews you give. If you really get to know and socialize with the staff you'd come to realization they are great people and know their stuff. Read moreThis store deserves a 1-star experience, from a nightmare involving trying to replace my broken copy of Metroid Prime: Remastered (GameStop delivered a broken copy of the game to me initially), but Rose from that store eventually was super helpful and nice, and is the only redeeming thing about this company in my last 3 years of being a customer. The online order was completely screwed up, they charged me twice, and started a return order without my consent. The other day Rose called me, set aside a copy just for me, and then when I came in to swap out the game, she not only replaced it but canceled the glitched 2 transactions that GameStop customer support had screwed up.
