My kids love this park! There's a wave pool right next to it and a huge grass field. Ganye Boys and Girls club is also right next to Kandle Park (you use the same parking lot for the park, wave pool, and the Boys and Girls club), and there's a cop shop attached to the Boys and Girls club so it feels safer than most parks. I know bad things can always still happen, but at least you know the response time is almost instantaneously. If you have your children, they'll love going to Kandle Park. I used to go there as a child before the remodel. I used to take my son there, and I take my daughter there to this day, and we all love it. The wave pool is cool, too. They have a little food shack attached to the wave pool called the Shark Shack, and you don't have to be in the wave pool area to buy stuff. They have hotdogs, polish dogs, ice cream, popsicles, and a few other things that I can't remember right now (I know I'll be going there soon so I'll update and take a picture of the menu when I do), but I do know the hotdogs are $2 and the polishdogs are $3, and thing else is decently priced for being at a wavepool/park. The wave pool is also decent priced. I didn't go last year or this year yet so I don't know if it's still $10 for adults for 2hrs, $5 for 7-17yr olds, and 6 and under free, but when I go back to Kandle I...

It was $8 an adult and $6 for youth. Cash or card. Lockers were cash only, i think i heard $1. I didnt get one. We got there 20 minutes before 1230 and there was already a huge line. There is an overflow parking lot. Line moved super quick. They have life vests there for the kiddos. Waves started at 1pm so 30min after the session started, they were pretty much on the rest of last the time with like 5-10 minute breaks every now and then. There is a 1ft little circle pool attached that has no waves. And then there is a spray park inside as well so that was cool. They have a little snack bar with snacks and ice cream. We had a good time. At the end of the am session, if you are staying for the pm session, you do have to leave, go stand in line again, and pay again. So just be aware of that, I would ask them, if you know you're staying, to pay for both when...

This was my first time taking my kids to this park. We went on a Saturday afternoon. I saw that the wave pool was closed before we got here and that was fine, we weren’t planning on using it anyway. But we did want to use the splash pad as it was 75° out. The splash pad was working but no one could use it because some kid took a dump in it. Couldn’t even stick your feet in the edge because the water was breaking down the poop and spreading it everywhere. Disgusting. And there’s a huge wasp infestation, they’re seriously everywhere and in abundance. My eldest child got stung while playing on the playground and the rest of us were too nervous to relax. If you have allergies you should avoid this park. I hope they get an exterminator and hang some wasp traps. It’s a shame, the playground is beautiful and the area is nice. Lots...

We have been frequenting this play space for several years now and it has held my daughter's attention through her growing and changing interests. Small structures for little one; larger structures for bigger kids; skate bowl/park; walking trail; ball fields; public restroom; shade to sit under; picnic tables. Super fun spot with many options!! Shares parking lot with satellite Police Station. **currently under construction as of AUG'21.
