Was at Macy’s last night. One of the employees tells me that she would make sure nobody locked me inside of Macy’s. I had told her I needed to go get dressed because I was going out and I needed to change my clothes. She tells me she will make sure that they will not lock the door on me. By the time I get out one of the other employees. By calling the manager to let me out because they had already locked the door. The manager which is name Karen tells me that she would not let me out I had to go around the building. My car was in fire stone in JCPenney very bad customer service she would not let me out of the building so I asked them to please call the security guard. None of the employees seem to want to help. Finally the security guard comes and tells me that he could not take me in his car. If I was a thief he would’ve been able to take me in his car. I feel very discriminated . Manager Karen had even disrespected one of her black employees as well, and the one that was supposed to help which was Asian went on with her business like nothing even happened I had left, I looked at my receipt to see what time it was when I had left the register. It was two minutes before closing when the lady had told me that she would still the manager not to lock me in I expected that they would’ve left the door open for me, but they did not. A manager and a security guard is supposed to give customer service I received no customer service after spending $200 on an outfit at company that has very disrespectful employees SMH I have been tossing and turning all night I don’t understand people that have positions for customer service and don’t understand the words customer service that was...
Read moreAWFUL SERVICE! I would give ZERO STARS if that were an option. If you shop here and find what you want, then things can go smoothly for the most part, though some cashiers should consider another type of employment as they are rude and act put out. My latest saga is around getting boxes for Christmas gifts. In NOV 2016 I was told they were out of boxes for Christmas gifts and after going to three departments and finally store manager, they managed to find a stack of them upstairs. In NOV 2017 they ran out and told me they wouldn't be getting any more in time for Christmas. Today, I called three departments and was transferred to store offices upstairs. I am a platinum card holder and they always 'say' what a valued customer I am, though when I ask for something, they can never seem to accommodate me? All I want are some boxes for many of the gifts I just bought online. I've just spent over a thousand dollars, and today was told they only give boxes to customers who buy products in the store! Really!! Totally unacceptable. I asked to speak with a manager, but of course none were available. I was told a manager would call me back, but so far I've heard nothing. I'm definitely closing my "Platinum" account as it obviously means nothing to Macy's. I will take my business to stores who appreciate it and am suggesting to anyone reading this that you...
Read moreIt took over five minutes to be acknowledged at the makeup counter. The three associates within arms reach were not with customer, but seemed not interested to ask if I needed anything. When I went to Nordstrom, I was acknowledged within five seconds. What a difference. I came back later looking for a very specific appliance that I saw online. After finding the box sitting next to the register, the cashier couldn’t tell me if It was on hold or available. He also did not point me where I can find more of the same, even though I already spent 15 minutes looking for this product. Last, I was buying a kitchen gadget and a different cashier wanted my ID and social security number to update the info in her system. I don’t feel comfortable giving out my social, when she already has my proof of identification in hand. Seemed too much. All and all the shopping experience was a bust. I’ve been to many different Macy’s stores, but for some reason at this location employees seemed disengaged and not willing to assist. Won’t be...
