This place is amazing. When you first walk in, your nostrils are filled with that amazing natural and organic leather scent that cannot be accurately manufactured or replicated. Then, you are greeted by the owners of the business (husband and wife) who are so passionate about what they do. If you've ever worn a pair of cowboy boots, you know that getting the right fit is different than normal shoes because there are no laces. However, this is not common knowledge in my experience, and the guys here are rare experts when it comes to this stuff. I had a pair of Ariat boots I bought from Bass Pro. I bought a half size smaller than my usual shoe size, but they felt way too big after a few weeks of wearing them. I put an insert in, but that just made it more uncomfortable. However, the guy at El Alazan Western Wear took the necessary time to try on several different boots to make sure I got the right size. Let me tell you what, nothing can compare to the way these boots fit my feet. Not only that, but they are 100% cowhide inside and out! I don't understand why they don't make shoes out of leather anymore because it is way more comfortable than whatever fabric they used inside my Ariat boots. Plus, it won't stink as the fabric does, and over time the leather on the inside will form to my foot and be even more comfortable. The boot is also goodyear welted instead of the Ariat boots, which is just a rubble mold. This means it will last longer, be more comfortable, and in a few years or so when I wear the sole down any shoe cobbler will resole them, whereas very few will do Ariat boots. They also have all kinds of exotic boots and belts like stingray, ostrich, different snakes, and so much more. The thing that is so special though about this place is the owners. Their passion bleeds through their work and that is why I won't buy boots anywhere else for as long as they are...
Read moreHonestly my whole family walked in there trying to find some nice boots, hat and shirt for an event. Didn’t catch a name because I didn’t care for anyways but the older lady selling definitely doesn’t have the best customer service. There was 2 other associates and they never asked to help us except the older lady. One girl was just sitting on her phone but I can atleast say the guy was working. We Did not like the older lady’s heavy jokes. Made comments about every little thing. When my dad tried to ask her for a serious offer/price (ONE TIME) she made some ugly joke saying that we can just leave if we were trying to lowball her when we just wanted the total price for the 2 items we were purchasing . Definitely told my husband not to buy anything since she had her ugly sarcasm. Needs to work on her customer service. Won’t shop here again. It’s sucks because this was the first time we came here. Also her joke had profanity words in it that we did not appreciate. We tried on the hat my dad purchased on my baby and the lady said we were playing with it like it was a toy. We paid for it so it shouldn’t have...
