I brought my iPhone 11 here for a screen replacement. It cost me $117. I left with my phone screen repaired and then the next day my phone malfunctioned. The screen went black and showed the Apple logo. Over and over again. This had never happened to my phone. I’ve only cracked my screen. Due to me getting it replaced on Friday and the store begin closed over the weekend I was not able to physically go into the store. I had a flight on Sunday morning and a broken phone Saturday night. So, I had to buy a brand new iPhone 14.
The night it malfunctioned, a message was sent to the owner on Facebook along with photos and a video. Once I returned back into Tallahassee I went back to the store and brought my phone to the owner. He explained that he would try to fix it. When picking my phone back up, he told me it was software issue. It had nothing to do with the phone screen being fixed. He told me I would have to contact Apple and pay around $20.
I did not ask for a refund..
At the end of our conversation I said, okay and left the store.
Days later he reached back out to the Facebook message, sent a reply, and sent me an email. The email stated he would give me a refund along with other details about my phone.

I went to have an iPhone 12 serviced and was quoted a price of $135 for screen repair. I left the phone and I was told that it would be ready the following day. Well the following day came and the phone was in fact not ready and that was supposedly because the owner missed the delivery service driver when they came to bring the package which pushed my service back a day. I would have to pick it up the following day. Well I went to pick up the phone today and instead of 135 I paid upwards of $160 to get the phone back. Apparently the sales tax is 7.5% and there is also a 4% fee that I was not informed of for using a card to pay for my service. It seems intentional, not to tell a customer that they will pay more if they use a card instead of cash. Also, he attempted to upsell me on a lot of things, financing a new phone, screen insurance, even cellular service. All I wanted was my phone fixed but I got robbed is what it feels like. I'm so glad I did! The place was really nice, and the customer service was great. I think it was the owner who helped me. He explained what was wrong with my phone and fixed it quickly. After the repair, he ran a diagnostic and showed me that everything on the phone was working fine.
I mentioned the bad review to the owner, and he told me the story behind it. Turns out, it wasn't an issue with the repair, but the lady's phone crashed and she blamed him, which seemed a bit silly. He assured me that if a phone crashes like that, their insurance would cover it. He offers this insurance to all customers, but some decline. I decided to get it because I need insurance on my phone since I'm pretty rough on them.
What really impressed me was the insurance plan. If I break it, or if it crashes or malfunctions within 12 months, they'll replace the screen for free.
