There isn’t any other store in the area that can hold a candle to this one. Games4less knocks it out the park in terms of stock. It’s extremely rare that I leave empty handed. Not to mention incredibly competitive prices (I’ve gotten the CIB version of these 2 games for 30 dollars each, a far cry of what you could find on ebay!). And their trade in Value is the best in the area. I remember having a 40$ game I wanted to trade in to GameStop. They listed it for 6$. I take it to Games4less, they give me 20$ in cash, which is exactly the value I expected from a retailer, not from a local business! The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. I remember buying a gba Pokémon game, fully expecting it to have a dry battery. It was a pleasant surprise to see hear that they replaced it, a type of quality control that is sadly lacking in retailers. Overall, it’s no surprise that Games4less has stayed afloat for almost 30 years now, and I would highly recommend it for fellow collectors in the...
Read moreI come in just to check out what they have about once a week. The prices are pretty fair but the customer service is great. If you buy a used game or console it comes with a warranty and they will fix or replace what you bought if needed. Which I have taken advantage of a few times. It just the safer bet to pay a little extra maybe, but have the warranty for such old games. They are honest and nice people and it's refreshing that you can go have a conversation about what you are playing, etc. They also replace dry Pokemon batteries which is nice and not something they advertise really. I have cancer which effects my speech and the employees never look down on me or judge me, they take the time to listen (It's hard to hear me with a mask). I think it would be cool if you guys had a lounge or something or maybe a game night once a month. Overall great local business that...
Read moreGames 4 Less has renewed my excitement for brick and mortar video game stores. Gamestop is the main reason why I stopped shopping for video games in physical stores due to an issue with a reserved game back in 2014.
With that said, the prices are fair for new games and good for older. You can catch a really good sale with like-newer games if you're lucky. Also, you can find some really awesome retro games and systems. The retro systems are a little over-priced but always in good, clean condition. If you're a collector like me, I usually go in to check this store out first before going online.
The staff are very friendly and the manager is extremely professional and genuine.
I haven't traded any games in but I'm sure you would get the same (or more) for your games like Gamestop. That's just an assumption so don't take my...
