I went through the drive thru tonight (01/01/23) and the woman working it was extremely rude & snippy. I inquired on a drink that I didn't see on the menu (I figured it was just a limited time item, but wanted to make sure.) Well she informed me that they don't have it & told me of the flavors that they do have. But I decided to order the Cinnabon iced coffee instead, to which she replied that we cannot order coffee after breakfast.. I said "oh, I didn't know, it doesn't say that at all on the menu, it's with all the other drinks & even included with the happy hour listings." So I looked on the website and saw that all coffees are available all day long at Taco Bell. I asked her if it was just this store that doesn't serve coffee after breakfast? And the lady came back and said "oh, our coffee machine is down" and I said "oh, well I was just told that it isn't served after breakfast", where she restated "no, it's broken." So I said "oh, ok. Well nevermind then, I hope you have a wonderful new years." -which yes, I did have a sarcastic tone due to being lied to. But she quickly bit back with a sarcastic tone and "pleasantries", cutting me off repeatedly until I just drove away. I get that we all have bad days, or maybe just personal attitudes that are part of our personality (speaking of myself here lol), but you canNOT bring it into your customer service. I admit that I shouldn't have gotten sarcastic with her, but as somebody who works In the service industry, she was VERY unprofessional and disrespectful and that should never be tolerated! (And I am not holding her to a double standard or speaking without experience, I am a small business owner, with going on 10 years of experience in the service and...
Read moreWhile I don't agree with the word "hate", the rating of 1 star is very accurate for my experience. I initially went to Taco Bell on 11/4/17 and ordered 12 items as well as donated $1 totalling $35. When I got home, I discovered they forgot one of my items. I called and was asked if I was coming back that day. I said no because this location wasn't really conveniently located near my home. I was told that either I pick my food up the following day 11/5/17 or they were not going to honor the fact that an item was left off... Meaning that if I didn't get my forgotten item I would in essence be giving away free money... So I come back today 11/5/17 and explained the situation and gave the name of the manager that told me to come back today. The young man proceeds to ask me if she (the manager) said I could have the food for free. I admit I lost my temper a little and raised my voice to say, "I already paid for it!" He nervously smiled and spoke with his manager and said he was making it. I said thank you. A few minutes later a young lady comes around the corner to ask me if I said the shredded chicken quesarito. I said yes. A few moments later they presented me with my food. Really...
Read moreA few years ago, I might have given this location 3 stars. The employees used to play around behind the drive-through window, talking loudly and acting unprofessionally. Maybe a new manager was installed since? It's improved quite a bit. At least the drive-though (I haven't gone inside in a while). I don't think much about customer service as long as I'm greeted in a moderately polite way and get my food within a few short minutes. But these people usually behave in a professional manner, speak clearly, do their job efficiently. Apparently chosen fairly carefully for a fast food restaurant. They even often part with some cheesy line that makes me laugh. I almost always have my food extraordinarily fast. It's usually made well. Sometimes it's sufficient, but stuffed minimally with slightly dried beans. It's rare. Anyway, I'm always happy to get a quick bite from the place. Maybe vegetarians have tougher stomachs than most?
