I wished I would've read these reviews before acquiring anything from American Freight. I think that every business should pride in providing customer service. Unfortunately, this particular establishment, specifically the individuals in their corporate office do not consider certain matters related to customer issues, delivery issues, vendor issues, billing issues, and product issues a vital problem for their customers. Considering that a number of individuals in Tallahassee, and it appears throughout America purchase their furniture, it is very sad to see how unprofessional they are.Notwithstanding unprofessionalism, their lack of response to attempt to at least try and contact their customers and to resolve their issues is a concern for me. My experience with American Freight was horrible. I genuinely did not have any desire to result in these present circumstances, but rather after a few endeavors to deal with the issue internally and not publicly with the Tallahassee Store, and afterward reaching out to Gordon and Belinda who both work in the corporate office, this is the thing that it has come to. I had to wait FOUR months to get a Westerly and Gray Headboard and Frame, although I was informed by the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Store Representatives that my furniture would be here in a month. A month transformed into FOUR MONTHS. I didn't get my headboard and frame until February 2, 2018 although, I came into the store around November 20th of 2017. Notwithstanding this issue, I concluded that I would utilize a store credit that I got and was told I could just use towards some other furniture I obtained. I was extremely reluctant considering to what extent I was waiting for my headboard and frame. Subsequent to addressing the Manager, I was guaranteed that my sectional I needed was at that point on its way so it wouldn't be an issue like the my headboard and frame. January 31st I was told I should received this item and here we are February 7th and nothing. What is more terrible about the greater part of this is, I was told that my sectional was here on February 5th. In the wake of leaving my place of employment to meet the delivery guy at my home, I get a call after getting a call telling me my sectional was being loaded to the delivery truck, I am now told that they have GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS. Terrible NEWS, is that they don't have my sectional. "GOOD news" is that they have a sofa and love seat that is a similar color that I can get. I discovered this exceptionally unprofessional. As a client, I feel that I ought to get the thing that I want and pay for. In general, after these numerous inconveniences that American Freight has caused me, I reached out to BELINDA AND GORDON who both work in the CORPORATE OFFICE and when I talked with BELINDA, I was guaranteed that they would return my calls that following day, to help me resolve this matter. She agreed that she understands my frustration, and is very sorry that I had to go through all of these things which are unacceptable. It is February 7th and no one has called me, emailed me, or attempted to resolve my matters regarding this furniture I requested. Kindly remember, I am as yet paying for this furniture that I don't have. I've reached corporate more than 30 times, and there is still no response. That is my experience. I would suggest shopping at other furniture store. In spite of the fact that the cost might be appealing here, I genuinely think that as a customer, customer service is critical when shopping for anything. I rather shop at an establishment who will consider my issues important and work industriously to at any rate endeavor to resolve my issues. I have responded professionally constantly regardless of every one of those issues I have encountered. I could just suppose if another person, were in my shoes how they would respond. Save YOUR MONEY. In this way, I will contact the Better Business Bureau, trusting that corporate will consider my issues more important and resolve them then as they do not find them...

10-7-23: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AMERICAN FREIGHT, AND DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT HONOR IT. I CALLED THE WARRANTY COMPANY BECAUSE MY DOG WAS SICK AND URINATED ALL OVER MY COUCH. I CALLED A DAY LATER AND THE URINE IS NOW DRY SO YOU CAN'T SEE THE URINE, BUT YOU CAN SMELL IT. THE AGENT TOLD ME TO TAKE PICTURES. I TOLD HIM THERE'S NOTHING TO SEE BECAUSE THE URINE IS DRY. HE THEN TELLS ME THAT IF THEY CAN'T SEE THE DAMAGE THAT THERE'S NO CLAIM. THEN HE ASKED WHAT THE WARRANTY STATES, AND I SAID THAT IT COVERS HUMAN AND PET BODILY FLUIDS. HE THEN SAID THAT IT COVERS FLUIDS AND NOT SMELLS. THAT'S WHEN I LOST IT. BEFORE I CALLED THE WARRANTY COMPANY, I CALLED THE STORE AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER BECAUSE I NEEDED ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO BEFORE I CALLED THE WARRANTY COMPANY. THE MANAGER WAS OF ZERO HELP. ALSO SPOKE TO ALEX AT AMERICAN FREIGHT AFTER I SPOKE TO THE WARRANTY COMPANY AND HE BASICALLY TOLD ME WHAT THE WARRANTY COMPANY TOLD ME WAS CORRECT 😳😳😳 THEN PROCEEDS TO IMPLY THAT I SHOULD DO SOMETHING DISHONEST TO DAMAGE IT ON PURPOSE. I COULDN'T DO THAT BECAUSE I'M NOT THAT KIND OF PERSON. I GUESS I COULD INVITE SOME KIDS OVER, GIVE THEM GRAPE JUICE, AND LET THE CHIPS FALL WHERE THEY MAY... BUT THAT DOESN'T SEEM RIGHT EITHER. WOW... I'M REALLY SHOCKED AND APPALLED THAT HE'D EVEN IMPLY TO DO SUCH A THING.

Original review: I was told that "living room furniture comes assembled" however I received only one assembled sofa end table, and the other one was in a box. When I called the store to find out why, I was told that the sofa end tables are not assembled, even though they are located in the living room section of the showroom. I was also told that the sofa end table that came assembled was a floor model, and I received a floor model because they didn't have both end tables in stock. They should have been aware of this when they placed my order last week, and I should have been given the option to decide if I wanted a floor model at that point. Floor models should be offered at a discount. I should have also been told that sofa end tables are not assembled or included in "living room furniture". It looks really bad when one piece of furniture is assembled and the other one, which is the same exact item, is not. Now I'm beginning to wonder if my reclining loveseat was the floor model, after reading the reviews. This is at best a case of poor communication to the customer, and perhaps some deception too, but I can't prove that, so I'm not going to accuse them of such. The only remedy that was offered is that I go back to the store and return the floor model for a new table in the box. That makes no sense either, since they had just told me over the phone that they don't have it in stock, hence the reason for me receiving a floor model without being notified, and paying full price for it. Going back to the store is an inconvenience to me, especially when I was not told I was receiving a floor model, and was also told that "living room furniture is assembled". Putting it together is also an inconvenience, considering I had already asked about my items coming assembled and was told that living room furniture comes assembled. The delivery guys were polite and efficient, and the salesperson was also very nice, but I'm disappointed in the poor communication and unwillingness to completely remedy the situation without inconveniencing me in...
