GameStop — Local services in Tallahassee

Do not shop at this location. Had employee do a false return on my account on an expensive headset. So now that the headset is no longer working and still under warranty they’ve pretty much told me I’m SOL. I’ve been going through corporate in attempt to rectify but I’ve already had to contact corporate multiple times, having to give the exact information repeatedly even though there’s a reference number to the issue. I see a BBB complaint in their future.

It’s now been over 2 weeks waiting to hear back from the district manager. I repeat do not shop with GameStop unless you want these kinds of headaches, they’re obviously ok with their employees committing fraud.

Never ended up being contacted local management. All I can do now is warn the masses to stay away from this joke of a business. Walked in this location today & had a horrible experience. Some guy named Rodrigo comes out a back room extremely agitated for who knows what reason. He doesn’t greet me. I tell him I’m there to possibly trade a phone in & rudely points to a pc & says wait over there. I let that slide because everyone has a bad day. Then he comes over. Never even looks at me & says “Just so you know I’m going to need I.D so you need to have that on you or I can’t help you.” As if I’m not 34 yrs adult. Why would I walk around without identification? The company I work prides themselves on customer service & I couldn’t imagine treating a customer the way I was treated today. Maybe he assumed I was some young kid who didn’t deserve representation but either way that lével of disrespect is unacceptable. I’ll never step back into that...

Game stop is a rip off, they give you very little value for your games or components. For example, they give 16$ cash for NCAA 14 or 20$ store credit, but charge the next customer $60 cash for it. They have been doing this for years, they won't even give you half price, but they charge almost 3 times what they give you, they get rich at the customer's expense, my advice, if you want to trade or sell try a different direction, because they will always come out on...
