My car was showing signs of having a battery issue, so I took the battery, which was still under warranty to the Tallmadge Autozone on 8/21/24. The employee refused to provide me with a replacement battery, and instead told me it just needed recharged. After they failed to call me, I went to the store before closing and picked up the “recharged” battery. After reinstalling the battery it still did not work.
I took the battery back the following day and wound up with the sigh guy employee referenced in other recent reviews. He told me my battery was fine and my car was broken. I took the battery to my mechanic who completed a charge test that confirmed the battery was defective. I returned to Autozone for a third time, located sigh guy, and demanded a new battery as stated on the warranty. One was provide and once I reinstalled it the car worked fine.
This could have cost me hundreds in unnecessary diagnostics had I not had an honest mechanic. It is important to note Autozone employees are not trained automotive professionals, and their advice is based upon nothing...

The guy looked very annoyed when I said I did need him to replace the battery, though this was included in the cost (yes the weather was cold but my car had not been starting). He came out and tried to replace it, the battery didn’t come out right away. He told me he couldn’t do it and to go somewhere else and ask them to do it. I did, the price was another 60$-90$. I then went to another shop to return my old battery, where they couldn’t find my receipt from that store cuz the guy didn’t enter it correctly. So I had to go to the same store to return it. I explained to him that I wish he would have given slightly more effort, and he became very mean and laughed in my face. I was informed that this was the store manager. Very disappointed with the way a...
