I had a BAD experience with Wireless Proz. I went in to have my camera lens looked at since every time I took a photo with my iphone, the pictures looked a bit hazy when pointing at bright objects or taking pictures at night while looking at bright objects like shiny lights. My other iphone (7 plus) looks great. There seems to be a spec of glue on the camera glass which is causing the issue. I took it to Wireless proz and they also mentioned that there appears to be a bit of glue and that they would replace the camera , tighten some screws and fix it all up. I received the Iphone a few hours later and they charged me $70. My back glass felt a little rough (perhaps the glue used and now it always feels this way). After taking it home I began taking pictures which again showed up with a hazy light around it. I called Wirelss Proz and they mentioned to bring it back and have it unlocked. You dont need to have the phone unlocked to take photos and check them but anyway , I wiped the phone and drove to the store at 11 which is what the store front mentions they would be opened at however that day there was a written note outside mentioning that the store would open at noon that day. No problem, I waited all the way to 12:30 with no one showing up. I finally drove home. I called later and the guy mentioned he was tired and couldn't arrive on time to open. I drove back to the store, and provided him the phone for fixing the camera lens issue. A few hours later went to pick back up and I tested again, same effect, hazy around bright objects (like Christmas trees, TVs with content, bright lights have a rainbowing effect). The guy mentioned the pictures look exactly like their iphone xs. I couldn't believe it. I went home disappointed. I called back a few days later after more testing and they didn't answer. I left a message asking for it to be repaired or my money back. I waited, no reply. I finally decided to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. Save yourself the trouble and take your money...
Read moreI have to give a shot out to my PC tech guy, Matt & his technician Max. First of all, as far as service, these guys are great. Matt & his wife are very nice & Matt is an honest guy who did great work & takes care of his customers. We've had numerous problems of different varieties with our laptops, from dropping them to fan & driver failure among other is. He always takes great care of our equipment, and his prices are extremely reasonable - in fact, low by comparison to most other repair shops I've checked. After 3 weeks of frustration not being able to get my new scanner application functional or operational on my laptop or my son's, (mine having driver failure and other problems & my son's needing a cooling fan and other ish)Matt fixed both my son & my laptops, gave us a warranty, and had his tech remotely get my scanner application downloaded and functioning on my laptop all for less than $250. I moved out of Ft. Lauderdale to Pines. There's a ton of repair shops in my current locale, but I will drive to Tamarac to see Matt because he treats me right. If you need] laptop or phone/ tablet repairs - this...
Read moreHad a very uncomfortable experience with the owner, Matt. He called me several times to aggressively pressure me into giving him the passcode to my iPad that was being repaired. The service was for an LCD replacement. I explained to him that I was not going to provide this information as I had confidential work information that I signed an NDA for. It was not disclosed up front that they “required” this information either. When I didn’t give him my passcode, he delayed the delivery date for another day which seemed spiteful. I was so uncomfortable. I had to ask for someone else to come with me when picking up my repaired device. He seems to pry on unsuspecting women. He certainly doesn’t need a passcode to perform a hardware repair and I’m sure most people fall for it because they dont realize the privacy breach they are agreeing to.
I’m attaching the receipt of my service for proof. I would not recommend this place to my...
